Breathing helps quiet the mind. Intent leads it. Find your desire and you find intention. Fully authentic.

This is one of the most important videos I've seen on witchcraft and honestly just about life in general when struggling with mental health. It bought me to tears and made me feel reassurance as well as freedom. Thank you so much for making this video. It's such an important topic and you did it really well!

You really touched on one of the problems I have encountered with ‘law of attraction’ philosophy. In this respect it comes off as abilist, where as people with negative thoughts are inherently doomed or incapable of practicing its tenets. Other forms of witchcraft/paganism are more accepting of people with disabilities than I would say new age and Wicca can be, but that’s my opinion.
I have found in my own journey with mental illness that the craft can help tremendously as an added coping mechanism. It has drawn me towards deeper mindfulness, self therapy, creative expression, emotional expressiveness in relationships, and more body awareness in general.
As far as recovering from anxiety/depression and presumably trauma. These things take time to heal, but they do subside or get better overtime. It is good that your in counseling and able to talk about things. You seem very self aware. Keep up the good work.
    Namaste

I love this! It blows my mind that people think just ~ manifesting ~ a positive life can magically cure mental illness. Everyone is always saying “your feelings are valid, you’re allowed to feel this way” but then they say to be careful because the universe is listening to everything you put out - make it make sense lmao. Especially when you bring up healing, because how are we supposed to heal if we don’t get those emotions out? Like you said, it doesn’t matter what you /say/, it’s the actions you put in. I love this video.

Most often the people that tell you that it is easy are the ones that had a stable childhood with closeness and love mom and dad were not all mess up, so just do the best you can and love and care for your self your going to make mistakes but that is life just learn from what goes wrong and you will be ok, part of my family was in witchcraft and I will all ways fight the demons from what they done,

This video really makes sense to me. I have clinical depression. I can't control my mindset and negatively and everything you are saying really connects to me. I really want people to learn mental illness and mental health and that it isn't my choice to be negative and I can't control it. Thank you for sharing something else about mental illness. The world needs to finally open their eyes and realize this stuff.

Thank you for making this video! Two subjects close to my own life. Glad to know I’m not alone. Good to see a fellow male witch talking about the struggles of mental illness. Thanks again! Keep it up!

I tripped on this video doing some quick research. You can take what I say and chuck it or ponder on it, it's yours to do as you wish. I am 43 years old and most of my years I was a bag of PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicide, insomnia, pretty much you name it. It also had led me to drink among other things as well. However, I do believe I had some help that is not from this world push me in the right direction ( crazy as it might sound). I want to also add I have been on medication before and did not like how I felt on it so I stopped it years before this even happened. Now I am going on over 2 years as happy as I can be. Most cannot comprehend the words "do not let your mind control you control it". Meditation helps this in a gradual way, except I do it different in where I say to my self in a meditative state "think of nothing" what this does is it gives the brain time to stop dwelling on things and over time doing this twice a day at least, along with some yoga and or breathing exercises things start to change. Because when something creeps into the mind "the think of nothing takes over automatically". I used to hate being alone as well Now I live as a hermit/ recluse and would not have it any other way. Happiness can happen without drugs or anything if one does not let the mind control you. Once it doesn't you learn to be happy and content with what you have and make good use of it. I also have a problem when I talk to people, I tend to not shut up. So simply I just don't talk to them physically anymore (restraint). most could not live as I do, most would go crazy if not insane without others telling them how to think or what not on a daily basis. For me, I embrace not being surrounded by that. Also, check out turmeric it has many benefits and helping depression is one of them. One can be happy no matter what its just perspective of mind. The law of attraction I do not quite believe in for me its just another money grabber and used to make a profit off of others tears. good luck:)

Dude, I really feel you. And completely understand about what others 'advise' you to do. Do they not think that if it was that easy, we would have done it already?
I do have a question regarding a very similar topic if you don't mind me emailing you for some advice? Many thanks xx

To be honest I’m probably one of those people who would get on your nerves. I don’t suffer mental illness, but my oldest child does (anxiety, panic attack disorder and occasional depression). I see your point very clearly, yet I can only truly understand the world from my own personal experience. I believe it’s vitally important for both practitioners with and without mental illness to be heard in the community. My understanding and experience can not possibly be of benefit to everyone nor can yours, but there is a chance that we they can be of benefit to someone. We each bring something special to the table.
I will say this though, pure manifestation isn’t easy for anyone. I can’t even imagine how difficult it must be for someone suffering anxiety. I genuinely can’t, but I think that’s okay. That’s why there are people like you here to give me a glimpse of what that’s like. So thank you.
I just found your channel and I really enjoy you so you’ve got a new sub! 💜

I've had to deal with depression for many years, I took a many years for me to get on a good medication to help. I still have issues I deal with daily, but the medication made daily life bearable. My Spirituality helped me seek professional help, and have the confidence to ask for help, but I think too often people use Religion to mask there mental health problems, in reality my spirituality has deepened more after I sought out help.

Daniel Williams I’m glad that your insightful enough to recognize yourself and your current state of being enough so that your spirituality could help you. For some it can have the opposite effect. As I’ve basically stated in my video lmao. Anyways I’m glad it all turned out well!

I need to talk to someone. Is it possible to get your attention before I do something. Maybe talk me down before I do want I'm thinking?

    • @EliottSolace
      @EliottSolace  5 лет назад

Lewis Ethridge I will say it’s better to talk to someone that knows you and or knows what you’re going through. I also really suggest talking to a professional if it’s that bad. I’m in no better spot tbh so talking to me won’t be helpful but you can reach me on Instagram to at least talk to someone that gets it. Other than that I highly suggest calling the suicide hotline. There are actual trained people there to talk to you and help you. They will also be there to call the police or help you find a professional. Many blessings. ❤️🥰😊
