It pisses me off how bad torgue is in this game except for their pistols. Even as a Moze player, their rifle and launcher splash damage is nothing compared to other legendaries. Hell even the Soulrender and Ogre are more worth using than any Torgue rifles. Wish they'd buff the lasersploder
Hey Joltz, my name is actually Eric Webb from Perth, Australia. If you go to Marcus after this cartel update, there will be a mission on one of the walls next to him. The challenge will be to pretty much spy on Maurice. Once you complete this challenge, you will get a purple rare Hyperion SMG called the pricker. This gun is extremely strong and I suggest you try it out. Every 4th shot it will send out a homing orb which will hit the enemy but not do much damage, but then will explode and do massive amounts of damage.
this was one of the first legendaries i got when starting mayhem 10.... made everything a joke. Also, farming scraptrap is a great way to get tons of cartel bosses to spawn

@@VilTheVillain Norfleet eats ammo faster than a fat kid in a cookies store tho. Without shamfleeting, you were pretty much always out of ammo. Moze could sustain the norfleet i guess, but yellowcake just doesn't use any ammo.

Hey Joltz, I am pretty sure there is a new gun called the Iceburger that is A Hyperion legendary. It shoots a fire laser and does cryo damage as well as launching a burger. I got it from Joey Ultraviolet but do not know if it is his dedicated drop or not. I sent a pic on Twitter to you and K6. It’s a cool novelty item.

This gun helped me beat Joey Ultraviolet the second time I fought him (on Mayhem 2 because I'm not that good), and it made it super easy. The first time I fought him (without the Yellowcake) it took me like 10 hard-fought minutes. You're so right, this thing is utterly insane.
I was never really a fan of launchers until I got the Yellowcake (x2 variant as well. Awh yiss!). It's now one of my favorite guns. This thing is stupid OP.

To get the highest possible damage output you are going to want to get it on Mayhem 10 as each weapon will have higher damage depending on mayhem level :)
stackings some buff ..im at mayhem 5 (slowly taking my time going up...coz my luck with RNG is shit..) i get 1m to 2m damage perhit...pretty instant kill..the higher mayhem u go the better the damage weapon u get
@@shinshow6238 Already on my crit flak build, m6 2x32k version with 200% skill bonus + crit fade away + splash/radiation bonuses... its 5-10m area dmg all the time, sometimes more (my best noticed was 14m). Anyway that update makes me dissapointed. Some skill based builds are useless right now. They should do something with scalling for sure.

Might get the Ion Canon treatment because 1 ammo per shot seems a little too cheap. I don't think they are necessarily gonna nerf the damage output tho.

Just an FYI: When the cartel are spawned in, it is also possible for them to spawn the mini cartel bosses too. I had the new shotgun Iceburger drop from this.
Some of the beacon the Cartel enemies drop can have very weird results. I killed Wick and Warty today and Warty dropped a beacon. The beacon spawned two neon flavored Wicks complete with their portals and everything.
Got my yellow cake from Tyrone from a random underboss spawn before i faced Traunt for the first time at around level 13. Definitely helped defeat some bosses up until the first vault monster.
Just a tip for anyone farming for any cartel-only weapons on console: start the mission, proceed all the way to the Joey fight and die, then upload your save data. Now when you download your saved data from the cloud and load in you only have to kill the first 3 enemies at the gate, and the waves outside the mansion doors. No searching for the golden mask. Plus you won't have to kill the cartel enemies after every run to gain access again.
I found a cool skip that allows you to skip the long audio after killing mouthpiece, you jump from the staircase next to the closed gate onto the side of the wall, you then follow that until you reach the corner, you are then able to jump and mantle over the wall. This makes it to where you don't have to wait for the audio to finish to move on. I didn't know if you knew about this skip or not just wanted to let you know to maybe help you in anyway.
You don't actually need to use the portal and go to the Cartel area to get the cartel drops, just killing the neon guys will spawn in the mini-boss enemies on occasion, and you can get this drop from them. I've got two of these launchers and three Fishslap grenades, and have yet to actually go into the Cartel area at all, I haven't even activated the quest from Maurice, and all the underbosses spawn in fairly frequently, usually only one at a time, but I'll see most of them within an hour or two of play.
A decent way to farm this would be to kill cartel Maliwan troops on Athenas. Tyrone Smallums is technically a badass Maliwan trooper, and since the other underbosses are similar to the bandit enemies which never appear on Athenas, you will always have Tyrone spawn when you get the underboss beacon.
You can also farm this on the Guts Carnivora thanks to the loot the planet event going on right now. I found this to be the easiest way to find the weapon for a limited time.
I just started playing the game a week ago and this dropped for me before the Agonizer 9000 fight. I don't know what that boss does because it died so damn quick.

ngl I got this gun on my first playthrough on level 15. It helped me all the way until level 37 when another yellowcake dropped. Seriously this thing murders anyone w/o radiation resistance
If you melee while your character is going through the side knob turning animation, you cancel the animation, the gun is reloaded and you can shoot it faster!
I was playing through the jackpot dlc and fish slap spawned out of nowhere and dropped this. The thing is i havent spoken to maurice, havent accepted the mission and didnt even know there was a event going on since i havent played the game in months
if you want a really good place to farm intel, go to the scraptrap hoard boss fight in trashopolis, cartel eemies spawn like crazy and also get preoccupied fighting the scraptraps,. you'll probably find a couple underbosses too.
I'm not sure he realised his annointement made the gun 200% stronger while action skill is active, so it made it a lot easier to 1 shit every boss. Either way, the gun looks crazy!
I got it from Joey when I was farming for the O.P Q. System. Not what I wanted, but I still took it. Because, hey - launchers. And boy, am I glad I didnt left it or sold it!

FYI You can override the reload animation when your ammo meter returns to normal by doing a melee attack

Also, you should look for one that also has 396 Area Damage instead of 295. Lot's of stuff to increase RNG.

This gun with Moze and the new torgue cross promotion buffs makes you literally unstoppable. Each explosion can proc short fuse too FYI

You don't have to go back to Maurice after you collect the code rings, you can fast travel straight to Joey's planet from your echo map.

That annoint, x2... that's the most OP god roll on the most OP gun in the game.
I'm not sure he realised his annointement made the gun 200% stronger while action skill is active, so it made it a lot easier to 1 shit every boss. Either way, the gun looks crazy!
I got it from Joey when I was farming for the O.P Q. System.
