Yes, Dee's neighbor is Rhea Pearlman Danny Devito's wife! They are separated but have stated they never want to actually get a divorce. And with that, we have officially gotten every main cast member's spouse on the show.
Lots to love in this. Cricket becoming a pimp, uncle Jack’s birthday, even more of Dennis implying he murdered Maureen, and Mac finally meeting Chase Utley and him reading the letter from “the World Series defense. Also not sure if it was intentional but what Charlie said at 14:04 may be a callback to “Sweet Dee gets audited” and Dennis says we need to convince the irs that Dee’s baby is dead
Charlie this season has the same vibes i do. Every time he tries to do something simple, he walks into a "situation" and just wants to leave or get it over with. 😂
There is something off in the latest seasons and I think I know what it is. The use of music changed. Every transition used to be done with music and music was kinda like the laugh track of Sunny. So many transitions are silent now, making them feel like forever, slowing down the pace sensation of the show. These small silent pauses have changed the feeling of watching an always-noisy typical Sunny episode to watching something less energetic. Also sad needy beaten-down and stupider-than-Charlie Mac is not as fun as the crazy energetic oblivious trying-to-appear-tough Mac of the past. Making him gay didn't change the character, but after they made him obviously gay, they changed the way they write the character, "It's not a gay thing, it's a Mac thing."
it has it's moments but it does feel forced at times. too on the nose with some of the jokes and the chemistry between the gang feels off. mac and dee looking like supermodels is a bit distracting too, doesn't really match their characters

Recognised her right away! Ah yea, I did look her up afterwards and saw they were seperated. That's so cool that they've all been on the show!
Probably my favorite episode from this season.
The reveal of the monkey from S15 is so good.
"Well, you could slit Frank's throat with the horn of a goat and drink a bowl of his blood."
Claire - nonplussed
Cricket being a pimp for that boy is the funniest shit. Sent my imagination running wild.
