Creating a Dive Bomb Effect with the HX Stomp

- I'm giving back to the RUclips community and hope you find this quick instructional helpful. Do you want to create a "dive bomb" effect with your guitar but do not have a tremolo system e.g. Floyd Rose? Try this setting with your HX Stomp and an expression pedal.
Thank you very much for posting this video. I was wondering if it was possible at all to emulate the dive bomb effect on this guitar pedal. I play a Fender Telecaster without a tremolo bridge and I do not wish to change the guitar for a few songs that I play where I need a floyd rose. Your video was very helpful.
Thanks for the reply. I am using the Dunlop Expression pedal to control the parameters on the HX Stomp in this video, however, any expression pedal can do the same. M-audio, Boss, Mission Engineering all make fine models. I use the Dunlop because of the small form factor and it is a bit sturdier than many of the all-plastic pedals.

Is that a custom midi controller?
No it is a Disaster Area Dpc5 gen 3. It is useful in managing my live amp setup as well as when I run direct to FOH.

I'll upload more but honestly it's just a simple dive bomb - not a whammy effect that pitches down 2 octaves. I am not sure if you will find value in more audio of the actual effect.
@@corissimo but the PS6 has an expression pedal input: you can do one way bombs or bigsby kind light tremolo (?). The Quintessence has a push-sensitive stomp button that can do some similar job if I understand it well
@@ymelfilm well you should do a video on the ps6. In this video I just showing how to achieve this with the hx stomp. It can be done with other devices as well. Cheers
@@corissimo I am still hesitating about which one to buy. Living in a remote area, none of them is available to experiment.
