You attached it to you fabric by sewing in the seam allowance, then treat both materials as one piece. I don't have a strong wire so I'm going to use some sturdy craft foam for the brim instead

Could you please help explain the measurements for the panels a little more for my caveman brain to understand? I see the bottom number is 10cm because 6 panels an your heads 60cm. But what about the other numbers? Where did those come from.
