I’m going for an interview today to be a case manager I’m excited but nervous about home visits 😩 thank you for your videos there isn’t a lot of yt videos out about case work
You're welcome!! I'm glad I could help. I used to have a job where I had to do home visits & drive clients in my car but I realized it was a situation I wasn't willing to continue. That's defintely a big thing to consider.. Are you planning to ask them what safety precautions they've implemented for their case managers while their on home visits? Best to you on your interview! I'm sure it'll go great.
Thank you for sharing this video. I also work in social services and have been looking to move to DC for a while now. Seeing this video is confirmation for me.
@@firstnameischristina As a soon to be graduate with my BS in psychology, I see a lot of case management jobs that require experience.... Where/how did you gain experience in order to become a case manager? Do you have any recommendations for starting off/landing a full time job with just a bachelors degree and no experience yet? thank you :)
@@firstnameischristina agreed! It was the pioneer for sure, but that time is over haha. Unfortunately my current job uses it, and my last job used Google Meet (which I miss!)
