Hi my friend I just made a 6 "RC , new 35s on 20x12 wheels and tires, but I have a problem, when I pass 65 mph it starts shaking 70+ is worse, with your experience Do you think it is a problem with the RC suspension or with a new alignment and balancing will solve the problem?
Hey Jesus I would try hubcentric rings. If your wheels are aftermarket the hub center for the wheel will be different then the hub bore for the truck. This causes the bigger wheel and tire to move around while driving at the higher speed. Try this first, but yes a wheel alignment and balancing is necessary too. Hope this helps bro 😎
I have a 6” bds lift with 20x10’s on 35x12.5 and was planning on lifting it to 8.5 inches with a leveling kit on top of the bds coilover, so I can clear bigger wheels..But I’m stuck between 22x12 and 24x14. Since you’ve had both 22x12 and 24x14 which do you suggest. Thank you I’m advance.
Nice truck!! how to do you like the fts lift? I am considering this lift with 24x14 on 35s or 37. I am debating between the 8in FTS or 6in BDS. Do you rub?
Thanks! I had to have the crash bars front and back removed for it not to rub. These are 24x14 with 35sx15.5. I had the 6inch BDS lift with 22x12 and 35sx13.5 on my last F150 (see previous video). It was smooth! This FTS 8inch is a little rougher ride definitely tighter than the BDS suspension. Overall I am happy with the 8inch FTS 24x14. It will sling up all the dirt on the side of truck since so wide but other than that all good bro.
Do u really feel tall on the road with just a 6" lift? I'm debating between 6 or 8 for my f150 and just don't know if 6 on 35 is tall enough or would u go higher? 🤔 Can u still see over cars and notice the difference.
@@robinthrill3r7 6inch is kinda tall. I’m running on 26x14 and 37s. I can see over the cars but not much over stock height trucks. I’d get 8” if I were you tho it’s better to go big.
@@angelm4255 haha yeh? I have the 5.0 with 6" and 35/12.5 and even that I could feel the sluggyness so I know those monster tires gotta have make a difference, that thing is giant. looks good though.
Nice truck bro
Thanks bro 😎
@@angelm4255 how much for the lift ?
@@rolandocantu7564 the lift it set was right at $6,500 through the shop that did the lift.

Nice truck man
What size tires and did you have to do trimming?
Love the stance. What size are the tires??

My BOYFRIEND HAS THE SAME TRUCK!!
Haha thanks bae 🤪
whats the link for the lift
What size are tires
did the kit come powder coated ?
Yes, it came in black but you can also opt in for the chrome. Any other colors you would have to do after receiving the kit.
Does it rub at all?
Any issues with front driveshaft boot on the transfer case side ?

Where did you order the fts lift??
where did you buy this lift, and did you have to get extended brake lines or would the original ones work?

With the 8” is the rake level or a little higher in the front/rear ?
The rake is level. I have the adjustable coil overs in the front and was going for the level look. The kit is an adjustable 6-8” lift.
How much was that 8” FTD lift?
I have a 6” RC was thinking about switching to Fabtech or FTS.

those are so wide ass tires, did you have to retune it or is it sluggish at all? 5.0?
5.0 - it definitely slowed some however it’s still quicker than a stock ride height ecoboost 😜. We put her to the test!
