Think about this... Remember the crash at the 2020 Bahrain GP in F1? If that happened before the "halo" was introduced in 2018, the driver would have been decapitated. But no, he survived.
That shows how far safety in motorsport has come.

i didnt know about the crash at le mans its crazy how far the safety equipment has come from then
yeah, but was a long and sad way; not to forget, that death can still happen in racing
For sure, motorsport has come a long way since then but doesn’t completely write-off the possibility of a fatal incident but has certainly massively reduced the chances
can u watch some moto GP/ isle of man tt?
