S. Stanciu: "Concertino" for 2 Pan Flutes and String Quartet

"Concertino for 2 Pan Flutes and String Quartet" is originally composed for 3 pan flutes and string orchestra. That version premiered in Wels (Austria) on the 1st of June 2023. Second performance was also in Wels on the 3rd of June 2023. Pan flutists were Stefan Stanciu, Andreea Chira and Ulrich Herkenhoff. Orchestra was Sinfonietta Wels. This Concertino is also arranged by the composer Stefan Stanciu into "Concertino for pan flute and wind orchestra". In this arrangement there is many differences to the original, because a wind orchestra differs in many ways from a string orchestra. This version was premiered in Chiayi City (Taiwan) on the 14th December 2023 with Chia-Yi Wind Orchestra at the international band festival.
This Concertino is possible to perform with 1 to 3 soloists. It is also possible to perform with other solo instruments than pan flute. Orchestrations are available as String Orchestra (original and easy version), String Quartet and also Wind Orchestra.
The intention was that this work is easy to listen, it has beautiful melody lines and it is a compact work with 3 parts built-in one single part.
