The thing I really love about Gunpla is that you can put TONS of effort into the cheapest kits and make something amazing. Or you can just snap fit that PG and call it a day. So much room to 'do stuff' with it!
$7 for the Gundam kit. But only paint colour and decals are over $10 already, which excludes the airbrush. I got a lesson from Tamiya 1/24 cars. I bought those cars because of cheap. But once I have to buy paint, spray, masking tapes, extra decals, and so on, it is 2 times more expensive than a model kit. But this video is cool and I LOVE IT. Great job. Bandai designed the kit in such a way that one can snap the pieces off. I guess if you dont pull them off roughly then you are fine. Even if you do damage some, you can fix w putty and filler

I recently assembled this guy as my very first Gundam build! I have to say yours looks a lot cooler, I did some rudimentary weathering with an ink pen I had lying around haha. But it was a lot of fun though.

Definitely it can be intimidating but just got for it, I watched videos on weathering techniques and tools I should get for about two weeks and build a High Grade Zaku Origins suit, it turned out great did some battle damage to it, weathered it and gotta say for my first time it stacks up to people who have been doing it for years. I put about 50 hours into it.
This i the perfect way to build gunpla with a real grade decal it look's so cool with it it with the perfect detail's also in your way building gunpla is so perfect to build in that way i love your good content

This is a guide on how to make a $7 Entry Grade worth the same amount as a mini Master Grade.
