I've tried to look up abandoned places around the area, but haven't really come up with much. I've seen this mall listed on a few websites, but after seeing this, I don't think it's worth visiting. Thanks for sharing.
Joe Baker same here. I was trying to look up abandoned places and i couldn’t really find anything. I’m glad you found the video before going cause you’re right. It’s not worth a trip to go there.
i went here just a few days ago and it was totally worth it. i found a hole to get through just on the other side (where the elevator isn't working) and i walked through to a little area under the escalators and stairs also by the elevator and we got a board lose and went in and got to see some of the food court thats still left standing. pretty darn cool. a few days before that as well i walked through all that rubble and mud that is shown and we got to get up close to that side of the amc that was all the demolished mall. theres a few storage rooms and such that are open, but mainly just a few parts of the food court so i went through those and got to see all of the back (kitchen) area. I would still recommend, however it was only a 35 minute drive for me so i guess it depends on how far away you are. Hope this helps!
😢😢😢😢 so many memories. I still have pictures of my daughter playing at the little playground. It was crunk in 2006. I’ve moved since then. I worked at Collin creek mall. Never stepped a foot inside the mall. Just work, Sears, and home. But I loved NorthPark. I lived in North Dallas.
I know of a group that actually snuck into the blocked off areas, man that would have been crazy if security let you back there.. I’d love to film that.
I used to frequent that mall back in the 80's. The last time I was there was probably 2006. Even then, it looked like a movie set from some type apocalypse. It had an eerie feel to it.
@@FrankPenalver Frank, don't bother, looked like they'd cleared away the Sears, E. end that opened 1st in '65 before actual mall per se, believe when U 1st walked in, used to be an 'El Fenix' to your left-
PSA: So the security guard stopped coming. Just went today. The entire “guest services” stand/booth thing was busted with bats or something. Nobody will have problems going in now.
