I love how you describe how you use your planner for a planner and not just a scrapbook. I also liked how you spoke of your financial goals in the planner. Since you have so many people following you a financial goal video would be an interesting idea. You are never too young or old to learn something new.

I don't have time to go through and add millions of useless stickers or write down things just to fill space and I think a lot of people would agree with that. I just wish those planners weren't so expensive because I would definitely get one! :)
RACHEL KAPPIUS I think there are great alternatives out there that make your money worth it. I have a filofax and while yes, it is a bit expensive in the beginning, you can keep the cover forEVER and just have to buy the insides. If the Erin Condren was like that (+smaller) I would buy it. But over 100$ for a planner that covers ONE YEAR.
I was thinking about getting an erin condren but couldn't justify spending that much money so I got a plum paper one. There are tons of reviews and plum paper vs Erin condren videos. I LOVE mine and it was a fraction of the price

Its nice to see someone with a realistic planner. I've always been fairly simple with mines, and was always shocked when I saw others with much "fancier" ones. I could never do that haha, because once it becomes a chore, I won't do it as devotedly haha.

I got my first E.C calendar this year and it is pricey but if you're on the fence about it. Just get it. It's so worth it. I love mine and use it so much. It's so practical and beautiful. Worth every penny.

I am not a planner/scrapeboocker at all. I use google calendar and the phone's address book and have all devices synched. However, your books look very pretty. I'd love to see a nail tutorial. They are crazy pretty.
You should totally do a video on how to be financially responsible! It's one thing to read self help type books about it but hearing real life advice is really helpful!
I love my E.C. planner. My brain works so well with the way it is set up. It is the first planner I have ever used that worked for me, instead of me working for it. I don't decorate mine either. Tiffany, you are my type of planner girl! Sometimes I envy those who are able to do all the "planner decorating" but that just isn't me. I am a busy mom and work at a middle school so a place to keep all the specific dates and appointments for myself and my kids is a must. I do use colored pens in mine because my planner is not as colorful as yours but I'm not even sure I would know what to do with washi tape and all those stickers lol. Besides that, it looks like it can become a heck of an investment, on top of the cost for the planner. Thanks for another great video and keep up the good work :)

I agree the Erin Condren is cute enough all by itself. I do film myself decorating and planning in mine every week. It's been fun changing things up, and finding what works for me. While I like cute stickers, I keep it very functional. I really enjoyed this video, and think it's important to show people that you don't have to be creative to plan! xoxo Bonnie
A lot of people love the Erin Condren planner, but I personally don't really like the look of it. Most people love the colors and I feel like the overload of colors and unappealing font makes this planner too... childish? Kinda like a kid's school planner? I like the convenience of the spiral bound though, which is better than something like a Filofax. But personally, I prefer something like the Midori Traveler's Notebook planner!

I do like to decorate a little in my planner for a couple reasons. 1. It gives me an excuse to buy the cute stuff from the Target Dollar Spot I otherwise couldn't justify, LOL. 2. Sitting down to decorate it forces me to look at it and remember what the heck I have planned! I don't go nearly as elaborate as a lot of people but I still like looking at theirs.
I'm the same way. I buy more plain planners and use Martha Stewart dewdrop stickers to mark birthdays (for children I write their ages on them), paydays and dates of direct debit payments. This makes them stand out while still giving me room to write in other things that are happening, such as any appointments or outings etc.
Check out inkwell press... best planners by far. I had an Erin condren but unhappy with the customer services plus needed a planner that had more of a professional appearance.
Planners really are such a "thing" now all over the place! I love seeing planners with all the cute stickers but it is definitely more functional to just have the necessities in them. Have you seen the Inkwell Press planners? The Erin Condren ones are nice, but I prefer the layout of Inkwell. Ashley from Makeup TIA did a video showing how she organizes hers, which totally made me want to buy one.

I'm glad you posted this! I just got into all this "planner" stuff and found a great one on Etsy called Plum Paper Planner and you can add in a "blog" section which is good for me because I'm just starting out and it was a bit more customizable than the COndren planners.
You're right, the paper is different. The PPP paper is thicker, smoother and better. The sale price is for a planner that is only good until Dec because a new one is coming out in June/July. You have more option with PPP to custom your planner the way you like it, you can start on any month and its cheaper then a EC. I'm promoting a product because it is good, not to add some referral code so someone can get credit to the EC site.
