I have no interest in ranching or having a horse…I’m a 74 year old living in my small 98 year old cottage near the San Francisco Bay. But I love your videos. You love your horses and you work harder than I ever have. My hat is off to you.
Please ignore rude keyboard "experts". Most of them probably never had horses themselves. Mean commenters are not worth your time. Many people love your channel, including me! 💯💋
One of the many things that impress me about you is your extensive knowledge of horse nutrition. The improvement in the horse’s coat after you rescue them and put them on your feeding program is nothing short of miraculous. They look AWESOME!!! Your extensive knowledge and experience is quite impressive. 👍👍👍
Whomever made the rude comment is just jealous of your talent, your work ethic, and your knowledge of horses. They probably missed a day at the salon 😂 You are awesome!
I enjoy watching your videos. Your voice is calming, and you're saving horses. You're doing what you can for as many as you can. You have a real love for animals.
CC's voice is beautiful and incredibly relaxing. I'm another 55-yr-old armchair horse lover. We live vicariously through you, sweet CC. ❤ My "farm" is tiny: chickens, ducks, guinea and dogs. 😅
I love Skeletor's big, kind eyes. He is so sweet and you can tell he is tired, eating his treats so slow. I hope the vet visit was a good one. 🥰🐴 Thank you for sharing your daily work you do for these wonderful horses.
It's definitely a labor of love for you. I admire your resourcefulness and that's what it takes to be a horsewoman of your caliber. We enjoy watching you work! We're old. ❤
You had me at slow as molasses that had me laughing good this morning. I am 73 years old and I have always done all of my own chores by myself it keeps you in a close relationship with your animals plus you get good exercise
I'm the same, Stephanie. You're one in a million CC❤️ All your horse work is done so calmly and purposefully without drama and it's evident the horses have found their place of safety and love you to bits. You are indeed a Clever Cowgirl❤️
I hope you know how very blessed you are. You are living my life. What you are doing and living AND where has always been a dream oh mine. Hardships and all. But since I am now 75 I doubt the tooth fairy is going to come along and make my dream come true. Thank you for what you're doing and never give up the fight!
Oh girl never give up ! My grandpa was riding with me up until he was over 80 so don’t sell yourself short. We all would like a life like this but I’m just going to be happy to still ride. Much love and prayers
I"m 71 and retired now but I never owned by first horse until I was in my early 40's! Raised Thoroughbreds (mares/foals) for about 10 years on a small farm in Southern Indiana. Although I got divorced and had to give up my dream I at least had the chance to experience it and I wouldn't trade those years for any amount of $!
It is so easy to be critical of another person’s work. Don’t pay any attention to bad apple remarks. That is probably their way with their whole life!!! You are Brilliant!!! I admire all you do.
"The Clever Cowgirl" you're an amazing trainer and owner. Don't listen to the trolls, they say they have horses, but they probably don't or have them board some where. Keep going girl! You're good.
Hi Cowgirl, just had to comment and let you know I completely understand your joy of just being alone while taking care of your animals. I have owned and shown horses since the late 70’s and I never wanted to share my horses or horse time with others. Sure I had horse friends that I rode and showed with but it was my thing. I got back into critters with mini donkeys this was shared with my husband and he is awesome. I have been blessed to have permission to ride a wonderfully trained mature mare that shares my fence line so I am riding again and my husband says go ride already. You just keep doing you and keep the content coming. You are amazing with the horses and push me to not give up the hope of maybe adopting or acquiring one of my own one day. Thank you
Hollywood has lost their minds so RUclips is my TV and I enjoy watching people take care of their pets and take care of their properties. Hollywood didn’t get the memo so there viewers moved on ❤
🤩 A special thank-you for the in-depth about the harrow getting the pastures ready for spring and not letting the horses out early to control for laminitis. We're exploring buying property so your deep dives into the land maintenance are awesome!
You are such a hard working woman,! Very knowledgeable and dedicated. It upsets me that folks would make such a negative comment on pastures. I follow several horse channels , and all the pastures for everyone look rough this time of year !! And they didn't have all the feet of snow and brutal cold.
Besides all the great info you provide, i really like that you dont film yourself constantly like so many other horse channels do (especially girls). You are obviously very humble and help keep the focus on your horses, pets and land. Thank you.
It is amazing that someone thinks their rude comment is in anyway useful, which pretty much means they are useless. It costs nothing to be constructive with comments and it can be really useful. I think what you do is admirable, life balancing and most of all extremely entertaining. In fact I think you are brilliant but no doubt you think it is normal. I envy your life, your energy, your commitment, your skill, your educational communication and your fortitude. I wish you nothing but the best in life.
Glad you had a safe trip to the vet with Skelator and Huckleberry. Thanks for all the information about pasture maintenance. Yesterday was a beautiful spring day in Montana!!🌻 Don’t pay attention to the haters about the pastures and the turn-out areas-they probably don’t understand the seasons in the Montana mountain valleys.
Yes, please ignore all negative comments. I wonder how those armchair ranchers would fare if they spent a week in your boots with your schedule. Probably _sore!_ and exhausted, I bet. I'm glad that you might be able to leave your other job. I enjoy watching all that you do. Your straightforward, clear commentary helps me to understand what it takes to rescue, rehab, and ready horses for their new homes.
I was getting ready to say that negative comments made by "armchair cowboys" have no merit. This is one of the best horsemanship channels I have ever seen. She has such an extensive, comphrehensive knowledge of horse care, management, and training.
Please...do NOT allow those negative nellies & comments effect you. You are doing your absolute best given circumstances girlie. You got this! Plenty of us enjoy your efforts & sharing with us. ❤❤❤
Girl my back yard looks worse then your pastures. I live in Tennessee and the moles are relentless. I am gearing up for moles wars of 2024. Mother nature is in control, I have tried everything to get rid of the moles but this year they have taken over the whole yard and killing my grass. You are doing a great job. We need to do a fund raiser to get you a new harrow.
The Love and kindness you give is second to none, I am an avid animal lover a what you do just fills me with joy knowing you are on this planet making a difference. Thankyou
Good Morning CC.... well you are a lovely surprise, with a fresh vid, and ohhh those blue skies and bare ground, are truly a sight for sore eyes. Weather update, we are getting dumped on big time... I'm going to look at the radar after I leave here ... and see if you are getting any of this... we are only a few hours apart... as the crow flies... and girl, whoever said that about your pastures, doesn't know anything... i am very impressed with the land you have , the barn, the whole set up,and now Im impressed all over again, with your pasture management, You know exactly what you are doing. Givem all and hug and kiss from Gramma xx take care.
I had no clue you have to drag the fields and re-seed. I’m a suburban, not a farmer. Am sure your negative comments come from ignorance. I just learned something today about pastures! You work so hard for your love of horses - that’s called PASSION! I so admire you. God bless you 💋
I am so glad that I found your channel. I gather from the first video I watched regarding the small pony that you live in Montana. I absolutely love Montana and have traveled through it several times on the way to West Yellowstone City. Love the Great Falls area. You certainly are doing what I wish that I could have done a little earlier in my life. I had a small horse farm when I lived in Bowling Green, KY where I raised Tennessee Walking Horses (Plantation). Some people associate Tennessee Walker's with the " Big Lick," but that is how some trainers train them. In other words, they are not born "Big Lick." This is a practice which I am totally against. At any rate, I wish that I had rescued some horses. I truly admire you for what you do in saving the most beautiful creature God made. Regardless of what you do or say, there are ALWAYS people who know better than you do or question what you do. Always negativity in this crazy world. God Bless you for what you do.
My God!! Look at the blue skies, The Sunrise, And The Fluffy Clouds!! Just another beautiful day in Montana!! I seen about your horse!! He definitely needs to rest!! But look at the transformation!! Just Awesome!! You are Very Clever!! Thank You for sharing this with us!❤😊
…You definitely have quite the muddy job ahead of you, Cowgirl, when it comes to the pasture prep. Hopefully you take it slow and steady for your back and shoulder’s sake. 🌷 👱🏻♀️ 🌾 🐴💖
Your horses are so blessed to have you to take care of them! I also reseeded my pastures last fall, mowing the 3' tall standing rye grass yesterday, and the pasture seed is growing in very well. I'm waiting 'til the roots take root (ahha) and things are strong before I bring another horse in. My great Palomino Honk died last year, so I've been trying to learn how to live without them. It's hard, after keeping horses for 30+ years, it's not easy. I love your videos, your place looks a lot like mine. Keep on and I'm glad you guys had a great journey! Keep your spirits up and love-up those great friends you have!
I’m not really a horse person, and I live in a large metropolitan area in California but somehow I just like watching you do what you do and I get a little attached to your horses. Actually, I guess I enjoy seeing how other people live. Thank you for letting me/us into your world. And, truthfully, I’m always happy to see a woman doing her thing. My best wishes to you.
Oh look at how Skelator, looks at you with pure Love!! ❤❤ I so miss my horses and the work that goes with them. You are one strong hard worker and it shows in how well your horses, cats and dog respond and love you unconditionally!!
Its unbelievable how people say such ugly things, dont pay them any attention. It shows their maturity. I love your videos and your love for your animals! Beautiful ❤
My dear strong, brave woman, when I watch your videos, the song lines come to my mind from “Oklahoma;”. “WE KNOW WE BELONG TO THE LAND. And the land we belong to is GRAND!” I sense in you a spiritual wholeness that sadly many others can never experience. I’m from New Orleans but grew up in wooded suburbs, and now (in my 70’s) I’m 50 miles north of NO, on an old 3 acre piney woods/former horse field. I’m on very high ground: 200 ft!!! Deer & Turkey & etc live hereabouts. This is where I belong, me & my 3 cats. I lived in Albuquerque and North New Mexico for a very magical year, long ago. I seem to have a ?spirit home? there…..so I love L❤VE gazing at your mountains. And the flat, open spaces. I do believe you and your critter family belong to the land. God bless you all greatly!
I don't have horses, I will never have horses, and there is no reason I need to learn anything about horses, but I LOVE your channel. Your voice and presentation are so calm. I love looking at the horses and following their stories. I also love learning about stuff I will never need or use. I had no idea pastures needed to harrowed, and I join with you in being annoyed that the harrow got all bunched up.
It’s so much fun watching you cruising around the pasture saying…oh this is not so big, just 7/8 acres 😂😂😂Most People here would kill for a pasture that size, glad you made it home safe from the vets…Skeletor has such beautiful Eyes, what a lovely Boy❤
Thank you for all you show us, and the way you do it is special. Never mind critical people, mentally they're in misery and have to live with themselves.. Imagine that! 🤢 God bless you and your Beautiful animals. ❤💪❤
I don't like people judging you. It upsets me. You are great with horses. You are my favorite horse person. If I were younger I would help you. I am old enough to be your grandmother. My favorite horse back in the 1960s was "Tuffy" he had a short neck, big head, and strong legs. He loved the water. His favorite thing was to plunge into a river and haul me around the mountains. 😊
I appreciate the chat about pasture management. It’s an area where I do not have alot of know how, so it’s nice to learn about it. Perhaps I will begin to take better care of my pasture too. I do neglect it too much. Thx again, glad everyone got home safely. Cheers. ❣️🍀
Look forward to Skeletors update! Yay Spring, it's winter/spring in Calgary, getting some much needed moisture! ❄ The armchair experts always make me laugh.
I'm an old lady now, but when I was a child I rode in horse shows, trained my horse myself at 10 years old. On rainy days I would just go to the barn and lay on him backwards laying my head on his rear all day. We weren't as large as you but the chore was to everytime I went to the barn I had to pick up stones and throw them out and pull some weeds. I just love watching you every day, but I haven't gotten them in order at all lol
Kentucky here, home of the Bluegrass. Every environment has it's challenges. By what I've read, etc., Montana (I believe that's where you are) is brutal in the winter. Sure you pastures may look barren now but just wait until true Spring. How do people think wild horses and all the cattle and cattle drives in the past have survived? And they didn't even have great souls as yourself to look after them. You'd think we'd have it made here in Kentucky, Horse capital of the world so to speak but as you, we also have different issues to deal with even with the lush spring and summer pastures we have. You're doing a great job and I love your format of just narrating what is going on. It's great for a refreshing change from other channels.
Skeletor does look a bit worn out today, but that was a pretty long ride. Glad you 3 made it there and back again ok. Looking forward to hearing about Skeletor's vet visit. That's great news about the YT income, hope you can get to full time days with the horses soon!
Haters back off! Clever Girl Is doing everything by herself with no help. Give her credit and bravo 👏 she is doing a great job! If you look at all her videos you will see the history and condition of some of the horses she has rehabilitated and the personal love she has for each and every one of them! CG I appreciate your videos and allows me to see a different side of the horse world besides beauty. God Bless you and I can’t wait to hear how Skeletor visit went ❤🐴✝️🙏
I think you do a great job managing all these horses , fields, mucking out, training, feeding, brushing, watering. My god, amazing, i have one horse and sometimes i really really dont want to go 😂 mucking out 1 paddock, 1 stall, three hay bags and six waterbuckets, i will never complain again 🙏 greeting from Wendy from the Netherlands. Much respect!
Lush green grass can be a problem in the spring. Where I was founder was a real threat. Had to put horses out a little bit at a time....and we still furnished hay and grain. So many people ignore this issue as I have seen hundreds of horses rescued crippled from laminitis . And ponies and the little mini horses are really prevalent with laminitis. Looking forward to the vet report on Skeletor.....
It seems to me like the perfect exchange, I get to watch and learn from you and you get some financial help .. and hopefully some moral boosting support!.. to continue loving and helping these beautiful majestic horses ❤
I felt your frustration with the harrow! Very clever using the hog panel. I wouldn't have thought it was heavy enough. Good for you. I guess every channel has to put up with rude comments or know-it-alls. I think most of us here realize you know what you're doing. Being by yourself, working outside can be therapeutic. Glad to hear the trip went well. Looking forward to Skeletor update. 😃
I think you are doing a lovely job on your pastures since you do all your upkeep alone. Ignore the rude comments but maybe those that get negative with you should come and help you for a week or two. Thank you for sharing what you do with us and how you have your hands full taking care of your horses, repairing fences, doing gopher hole damage repair where it's needed. i admire you and all the hard work you do for your animals. I enjoy watching Huckleberry and Tiny when they are following you around. Take care, ignore the negatives, and live for all the positives.
Lol, it's Tiny's world and we're all just living in it. Hopefully a treat or food she rarely gets will appease her. As for the rude commenter, one thing I learned when putting myself out there(like youtube), is knowing how to separate, and parse what is actually constructive criticism and what is just trash criticism and how to deal with them both in a productive manner so the negative ones don't bring you down. Hopefully, you already have that skill set or learn it quickly as to not burn out because your health is just as important as the horse you rescue. Also in another video you mentioned about looking to buy your own land so I'm sending out some good vibes from my place place here in the Canadian Rockies that you find some good land at a good price.
I started watching your channel as a curiosity. I don’t know one thing about horses but even I can see that you truly care for these beautiful animals 🥰
I love your channel and see how hard you're working, I hope this channel grows so you can make this a full time job. Big hug to you and I hope Skeletor is ok. By the way Huckleberry has a gorgeous face
That is smart thinking, I do know sometimes you have to do w/ what you got! Smart thinking honey! Your a very good momma, love taking care of all your babies first!😊😊❤❤❤❤❤

New here just this week, am still here and subscribed. I am enjoying her down to earth approach. She is blessed living on her ranch. I see no fancy equipment, no frills, but she's making it work and she loves what she's doing.
Your local conservation district might have a no till drill you could use for overseeding your pastures. My husband wanted me to tell you this. He secretly likes your channel as much as I do.
Let the ads run too ... I'm on my own too it's hard but satisfying as U say ...we are so swampy here in SW of UK months and months of rain 😢. Ur doing great don't let anyone grind u down ...there's always those sort of people. I love ur set up . Keep doing what ur doing girl 💪😜 I love watching and listen to u x
you need a good farm welder to fix those tines. We had huge drainage issues in the spring, but a tractor was a must. Our dogs kept gophers away, but he mule wallows -- like mini ponds! Miss the farm a lot but I know the mulies are loving those pastures in heaven. Skeletor is a doll!
Watching this during another snow storm here in Maine - it is so satisfying seeing you prepare the pastures for the Summer season! Hugs to Skeletor - what a travel champ! ❤
People who make rude comments expose their ignorance. They also expose their insecurities, that they have to be mean in order to feel powerful. Sad and pathetic. I’d like to see them try to do what you do on your own in one day.
I simply love your videos. Hopefully Skeletor did good at the vet. Sadly, I cannot be very near horses, as I developed heavy asthma bronchiale when I had my own horse (had to sell him due to that). Watching your videos is like therapy to me. I still love horses so much.
SMH, so many people arent really happy unless they are complaining, it seems. What your doing my dear, is an awesome job. I do miss looking after what my ex and I had years ago, 10 acres of hay as well as pasture, needing harrowing as well as seeding. We were lucky tho as the acerage had a irrigation system that allowed us to water, didnt have to depend on rain. I do hope your able to quit your job so you can have all day every day to devote to what you love to do. Take care, look forward to the next video.
You do such an awesome job! I hope you can ignore any negativity. I’m very happy that my watching your videos helps! As a former horse trainer myself who is now disabled and home bound I always enjoy watching. Best wishes in all your endeavors 🙏

Please ignore rude keyboard "experts". Most of them probably never had horses themselves. Mean commenters are not worth your time. Many people love your channel, including me! 💯💋
lol - key board Rambo’s.
Me too!
They probably missed a day at the salon 😂
You are awesome!
My "farm" is tiny: chickens, ducks, guinea and dogs.
We're old. ❤
Looking forward to Skeletor's update!
Me to !
You had me at slow as molasses that had me laughing good this morning. I am 73 years old and I have always done all of my own chores by myself it keeps you in a close relationship with your animals plus you get good exercise
I’m not a horsewoman but I do know the satisfaction of being able to say, “I did this.”
I struggle sleeping so love watching, listening and learning about your life with the horses. Thankyou x
I'm the same, Stephanie. You're one in a million CC❤️ All your horse work is done so calmly and purposefully without drama and it's evident the horses have found their place of safety and love you to bits. You are indeed a Clever Cowgirl❤️
Me too. X
Indeed!
What a hard working woman. Hope Skeletor is okay.
Thank you for sharing your world with us...and don't listen to stupid!! Hoping Skeletor will be well ❤❤
It is so easy to be critical of another person’s work.
Thank you
Clever Cowgirl indeed! I love your tenacity!
Hollywood has lost their minds so RUclips is my TV and I enjoy watching people take care of their pets and take care of their properties. Hollywood didn’t get the memo so there viewers moved on ❤
Just hang in there and keep looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. Don't listen to anyone else. They aren't the one's out there working. ❤
Thank you.
I lived in Colorado for 8 years… everything goes brown from winter!!! You are a rockstar for all the hard work you do!!!!!!❤🎉
Don't worry about what other people think about your pasture. You just do whatever is best for you. Thank you for all you do for the animals ❤️
Yesterday was a beautiful spring day in Montana!!🌻
Don’t pay attention to the haters about the pastures and the turn-out areas-they probably don’t understand the seasons in the Montana mountain valleys.
We need to do a fund raiser to get you a new harrow.
try throwing bubble gum out there
The Love and kindness you give is second to none, I am an avid animal lover a what you do just fills me with joy knowing you are on this planet making a difference.
Shame on anyone who would leave a rude comment. What you accomplish is amazing. Ignore those downers who probably don't do any physical work ever!
It is a pleasure listening to your life as it unfolds your progress & dedication is admirable.
❤️
Please ignore the bad mouthers. You do so much for your horses. As an ex stable hand I am in awe at how hard you work. Love from the UK
I’m not really a horse person, and I live in a large metropolitan area in California but somehow I just like watching you do what you do and I get a little attached to your horses. Actually, I guess I enjoy seeing how other people live. Thank you for letting me/us into your
world. And, truthfully, I’m always happy to see a woman doing her thing. My best wishes to you.
Oh look at how Skelator, looks at you with pure Love!! ❤❤
I so miss my horses and the work that goes with them.
You are one strong hard worker and it shows in how well your horses, cats and dog respond and love you unconditionally!!
Its unbelievable how people say such ugly things, dont pay them any attention. It shows their maturity. I love your videos and your love for your animals! Beautiful ❤
I love your videos! No drama. Just someone who loves her horses & does everything she can to give them a good life❤️
My dear strong, brave woman, when I watch your videos, the song lines come to my mind from “Oklahoma;”.
Yeah because it is Spring 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Yay
Always a great day when a Clever Cowgirl drops 😍
I don't have horses, I will never have horses, and there is no reason I need to learn anything about horses, but I LOVE your channel. Your voice and presentation are so calm. I love looking at the horses and following their stories. I also love learning about stuff I will never need or use. I had no idea pastures needed to harrowed, and I join with you in
being annoyed that the harrow got all bunched up.
Tiny, typical cat reaction when mom goes out of town. I’m glad the vet trip was successful, and hope he feels better soon.
It’s so much fun watching you cruising around the pasture saying…oh this is not so big, just 7/8 acres 😂😂😂Most People here would kill for a pasture that size, glad you made it home safe from the vets…Skeletor has such beautiful Eyes, what a lovely Boy❤
Scarlett's " subtle" dinner hint- LOL, not the same little wild girl you bought at that auction anymore! Rooting for her at Futurity!
Thank you for all you show us, and the way you do it is special.
Never mind critical people, mentally they're in misery and have to live with themselves.. Imagine that! 🤢
God bless you and your Beautiful animals.
Bonjour de France
Haters back off! Clever Girl Is doing everything by herself with no help. Give her credit and bravo 👏 she is doing a great job!
If you look at all her videos you will see the history and condition of some of the horses she has rehabilitated and the personal love she has for each and every one of them! CG I appreciate your videos and allows me to see a different side of the horse world besides beauty.
God Bless you and I can’t wait to hear how Skeletor visit went ❤🐴✝️🙏
As a non horse person, i truly enjoy your video. From 🇦🇺
I think you do a great job managing all these horses , fields, mucking out, training, feeding, brushing, watering.
Yup! I will see alot of laminic and foundering horses at the sales coming up here pretty soon.
I really enjoy watching your videos, and seeing all the horses. Brings some peace to all the craziness in the world.😘❤🙏🏻✨
Ignore the haters. We think your doing an awesome job. ❤❤
So much for spring… now everything is snow covered again. ❄️🌨️
I believe the proper term is that the grass goes dormant, not that it dies. If it died, it would never come back.
I love your channel and see how hard you're working, I hope this channel grows so you can make this a full time job. Big hug to you and I hope Skeletor is ok. By the way Huckleberry has a gorgeous face
Thank you, I will
That is smart thinking, I do know sometimes you have to do w/ what you got! Smart thinking honey! Your a very good momma, love taking care of all your babies first!😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Good morning from rural Northern IL, USA. Love seeing all content from CC, Tiny, Huckleberry, and all the horses. We used to use an old bed spring as a drag, but they are hard to find nowadays! You do a great job!
I used to have one of those! I had it start to break down and leave little pieces of wire in the pasture so I had to get rid of it.
Merch!! Everyone else does merch; A skeletor mug!!
I want a Goose tshirt!
You certainly live up to your name, the clever cowgirl,❤always caring and playing with all your animal❤keeping them healthy,❤ and Working hard.❤🎉😊I would love to have your life style.🎉😮😊
As a Montana girl with 2 horses on 10 acres…..this is what pre growth looks like. It amazes me how a small amount of spring rain greens our pastures!
Skeletor ❤sweet horse ❤ rest darlin ❤
We appreciate you. Please hang onto your job a bit longer.🤞
New here just this week, am still here and subscribed. I am enjoying her down to earth approach. She is blessed living on her ranch. I see no fancy equipment, no frills, but she's making it work and she loves what she's doing.
Thanks for subbing!
Your local conservation district might have a no till drill you could use for overseeding your pastures. My husband wanted me to tell you this. He secretly likes your channel as much as I do.
Always a pleasure to see how things are going in your life there in Montana.
You must be sooo tired! Happy you have answers
you need a good farm welder to fix those tines.
Your doing an amazing job don’t listen to negative comments! They’ll always negative people. That person should offer to Volenteer to help you.
