I always feel guilty for LOVING this....I’m in Pennsylvania, born and raised and still here. I love the snow and storms and blizzards. There’s something about being home and cozy with a hot beverage under blankets that makes me feel so peaceful and relaxed.
I've lived in buffalo my entire life and this was definitely the worst storm I have been through but I will take snow storms over wild fires, tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes any day. Thanks for watching
*as long as you don't lose power ;) - we're by the airport and thank God we did not lose power. Went and bought a generator but returned it since we never opened it. Great vid.
@@jhngh411 we are near the airport as well and its funny, we used to loose power every time the wind blew but they fixed those problems and we didn't loose power during the entire blizzard but we lost power for 2 and a half day during this last little ice storm
It's nice once and a while to get snowed in especially if everyone you care about is safe and stuck with you. Some folks got stuck at work or with complete strangers.
@@716_sam1 What was the context here? Extremely low temperatures? Having to be exposed outside? Because if you can stay inside with enough provisions and heating, I don't see why to be scared.
@@voixdelabime it was scary for the people who lost power for 5 days with no heat and no way to get help to them because there was 5 ft of snow on their street

We had so much fun being trapped in the house for this storm. I loved it

@@716_sam1 ah airport memories. Countless nights camping in the flying ace's lot.
I would loved to wake up on Christmas morning and see all that snow.
Never get that in UK , last white xmas 2004 ,
is hard to comprehend that there are parts of this storm where it was snowing about an inch every 5 minutes
It was worse than the Blizzard of ‘77 in my opinion and I was caught in the ‘77 one! This one lasted longer and was more deadly!
The people of Buffalo must be made of some pretty tough stuff to endure weather like this.

Don't know if we're lucky or unlucky to not have these kinds of storms in Finland

Anyone else notice that Santa Clause never showed up on the video????
Whoa
All the way to the left it looks like clouds, is that snow falling or smoke from a chimney around 8:46 you see it over top of the house
The car thogh how it almost got completely covered
It got so scary so quick 🤐
That was the first time I have ever been scared in a storm.

That's exactly where it is, because there's more than one buffalo in America.@@716_sam1
I'm surprised the power is still on.
