I’m not allowed to go on vacations in other countries alone to go snowboarding, but all those opening videos make me realize That nothing where I live will open in another month or so and I can’t wait, I appreciate your work man :)
TJ, How would you compare the bataleon boss to say the Capita super doa? I have the Super Doa , but very interested in the 3bt with still the lightness, precision and control of a freestyle board that the Doa offers.
I just got that board myself in a 157... Wondering what you thought of it compared to your goliath or evil twin? Or like as opposed to another board you think it rivals up against...? Also... if I may pick your brain, for bindings I want to go with the ride Ltd rad dan's because I want ride bindings for the canted footbed and the high back is eurethane with a flex of six... Like Bataleon states the flex of the Boss is.... and to top it off I'm going with the Ride '92 boots (this year's edition in the all black because that's what they come in🤷🏼♂️). Thoughts?
Hey man what size boards should i get? Im 172cm and weight 72kg. Boot size 11 so wide version. Also capita horrorscope 2021 or gnu money 2021, im beginner-intermediate and looking for park board
@@BoardArchive you both rip but I got to ride behind Tommie last week at Keystone and man watching him up close inspired me to get a true twin and start riding more with a freestyle flare. Maybe at some point this season, hit the baby park some. 😁
Dude look at those lift lines!!! I can't believe how crowded Colorado has become in these last 5 years. I'm born and raised in Colorado and I started snowboarding at Copper in 2002. Even on the busiest days of the season it was just a small fraction compared to how crowded it is now. I can't even fathom what it will look like in 10 years from now. Colorado's infrastructure was never designed for this large of a population.
in general a twinnish board (no setback, no taper) is going to have the same feel carving switch as regular. For carving specific having a wider board can be fun because it allows you to lay the board over more aggressively without your boots dragging in the snow. Sidecut is a personal preference but a larger sidecut can feel more comfortable at higher speeds. I made a video with ryan knapton on the channel talking about this try and check that one out and see if it helps.
Do the resorts in Silverthorne require parking reservations this year? I didn't even ride last year because of that restriction. If I can park, then I'm not going to risk driving up and not have a spot to park.
I sometimes see people waxing their boards in the carpark, is that even ideal? Can get uneven, risk of excess wax... Shouldn't you be waxing and scraping at home at least, on an even surface? With excess wax, i was told it affects a snowboard's on-snow performance. I'm sure excess wax on features is ok, like a waxed curb to a skateboard... but on snowboards excess wax is slow on snow (ice crystals forming), is this true?
it is definitely not ideal, I was on a time crunch and waxed that morning so scraped at the resort. Honestly if your board needs wax a quick wax job and poor scrape will still make a huge difference, but if you want to do it proper definitely take the time to do it at home with all the proper tools. I will make a comprehensive wax video soon
Latest in the season that Denver has not seen snowfall on record, and it's keeping up. Lets hope this dry start to the season means we will be pumped with snow in early 2022
sky chutes is a classic! Yeah man go to evo Denver on south broadway they will take good care of you. I worked there for 2 years, solid crew and good people all around

What snowboarding mittens do you recommend? I am looking for new gloves/mittens so that my fingers and hands don’t get cold
Hey brotha I’m looking to get a evil twin or the boss this year. Still undecided.. Is there one you prefer other than the other?

Can you make a goggles vid? Tell us about Anon Sync? All the best
Can you make a video for best boards for switch ridding and carving?

No resorts I can think of. I've been to A-Basin, Keystone and Copper opening day, no parking reservations.
