Love this!! Some great ideas, I love the idea of getting an iPad and having people leave us videos.
We are getting our first dance song on vinyl and putting it on an old record player and then getting people to sign it for us :) xxx

Love the idea of having the picture frame of a wedding photo filled with all the love and good wishes from friends and family.
I'm very sceptical with the whole book concept because when on earth am I gonna flip through that - I'll just forget it exists and find it every 10 years. The picture with frame can be appreciated every day 😊

Keeping with my Harry Potter theme, we will be having a scroll of vintage looking parchment with some feather pens. ❤

Love the video advice on the iPad. Then have someone edit it and watch later

I found your video because I searched how to make a guest book. I thought for sure I would see the construction of a book. But I will say that my son is a music teacher and I have been searching for a guest book. After looking on Amazon, I thought how cool would it be if I got a book (no bigger than 9.5 x 11 inches). I could secure music paper in there and on the outside of the book, perhaps I could glowforge: leave a note. .

My other half is Australian and I’m from the UK which is where we met and now live together.
We would like to get married here as I have a much larger family than he does so it makes sense as there’s less people to travel that huge distance this way round and also we live here so it’s more logical in that sense too to plan a wedding that’s local to us.
His parents and some other close friends and family members will be happy to fly over for the wedding (we’re having a long engagement to give everyone time to save up!) however not everyone will be able to afford it and his grandparents simply won’t be able to make it due to health conditions that prevent them from travelling.
We are planning on visiting Aus as part of our honeymoon and will undoubtedly put our outfits back on and have some kind of casual second wedding reception party or meal or something but I’m just wondering if you or anyone here in the comment section could give some ideas or tips on how to keep the Australian side involved in the planning process.
Even though his parents will definitely be coming, I feel guilty that they can’t be as involved as my parents and as my partner is an only child, I know they’ll be feeling a bit upset that all this exciting stuff is happening so far away.
In an ideal world we would have them visit us and we visit them a couple of times before the wedding but it’s just not financially possible to do that. We are also trying to keep the whole wedding as budget friendly as possible!
Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep his family involved for example with some lightweight diy projects that they could bring over with them or something?

I saw someone do a plate. They got everyone to sign a plain plate and then sealed the writing on. Not sure how it worked but it did.

Nice talking, but shouldn't you have somethings to show at least? after all this is an instructional video, or at least that is what we are looking for....And no, we do not know what you "mean".

Right? Google? I'd like to know what works and doesn't.
