I ordered and planted a sweep of 'Daisy May' in a new bed this spring after seeing Laura use these. The first year growth has been impressive along with the continuous blooming. I used Biotone when planted and also deadhead about once a week. Next year I plan to replace some of my older shasta daisies with 'Daisy May'.
I love this channel and you Laura because of how you show from beginning/planting throughout the season. I look back so often to watch what plants do and the difference between varieties. Thank you so much. They are beautiful
Daisies are my absolute favorite! When you talked about the Daisy May, 2yrs ago, I got my hands on some & haven’t had great success😔! However, I will not be deterred, & am encouraged by your amazing & beautiful display 😍💚thx Laura!
Jake Jones 48 people don’t agree with you up to now.Sorry but we do like these “plant spotlights “ videos. This is exactly what we like Laura to show us even if it does highlight how good the Proven Winners plants are.
My 6 year old daughter heard your voice and she came running with her stool so she could watch. She looked at me and said...”she is amazing” ❤️. We love watching your videos. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤️❤️❤️
Happy 4th and what a beautiful beautiful daisies and I never see such a full bloom thank you so much for recording this video for us so we can enjoy this beauty
👏👏👏👀the daisies are outstanding! I've never seen any more beautiful!! You all surely know how to do all things garden be it flowers or veg. Good luck with your new huge space for gardening.🌿🌳🌲🌷🌻🌈
Beautiful 🥰🤗 I have been really enjoying my daisies this year. I do not have this variety, but they’re pretty either way. I love to cut a huge bundle and bring them inside. They last for so long!💜
Holy cow, that is amazing. It really creates almost a solid mound of flowers. Quite a different look than traditional shasta daisies, even tho the individual flowers are very similar. I think, in the end, I actually prefer the space between the flowers with shasta daisies, but this is an amazing cultivar.
Thank you so much! I wish I had watch this a few weeks earlier 🥰 just planted some ox eyed daisies, and thats exactly the result I wanted to get, your garden looks amazing as usual!!! Looking foward for next year to see my daisies!! Stay safe!!
Those are sensational! I love the compact, round shape. For some reason every time i try to plant daisies, I get tall lanky ones instead of these nice mounding type. Maybe I will try these next year if I can find them. Sometimes it's difficult to find the Proven Winners varieties here.
I'm loving these plant spotlight videos! What are the burgundy flowers to your right? Alliums? If so, is it possible to do a spotlight on alliums? I know they don't all bloom at the same time, but would love to see them in any stage they are in.
I need to move home (I'm from the Portland area) to a new to me Ontario area and become your photographer of all your views of every planting you do!! These are absolutely gorgeous!! Love you and your family! My former "youth Sunday School teacher" is the Pastor of Calvary Chappell in St. Helens, OR!
Another great plant SPOTLIGHT! Kudos to Aaron (or whoever is responsible) for the music on this and many other videos. A perfect pairing as always, in my opinion. 🌸🌿🌺🎵🎶
This is certainly off topic and I expect I simply missed your update but I've wondered several times about the bee hive - do you still have it and nurture it? Question 2: have you ever used the single stem tomato pruning method? And lastly I'd really appreciate a very quick and thorough video on trimming Supertunias - when, how much, every piece of the ST in the container?? and how do you keep them from getting thin and unsightly on top while still getting the thrill of the draping to the ground? I water underneath daily and fertilize every Monday. Long question - sorry. Thanks 😊
I can hardly believe my eyes. I’ve never seen a daisy perform like that, such beauty!
It’s all about the watering. This lady has amazing irrigation systems it’s crazy
@@emmanuelb42 she just has drip irrigation. It’s not that crazy lol
Gorgeous! I like when you mention how many plants you have in an area as well.
I wasn't expecting a Sunday post. I really appreciate it as I start my days with your videos
Same!!😊
Absolutely!!!!
I think she "forgot" she was going to take Sundays off! Either that, or this was done ahead of the one last week.
It was a pleasnat surprise to see a Sunday post. Anyone know if there is no longer a Tuesday recap?
What a lovely surprise! Thanks for posting today!! Have a good day ❤️
I am loving these small videos covering 1 plant. 😊 Shasta dasies are my favorite wild flower so I love the idea of having it all season long!

MARY SLACK good to know. What zone are you? I wonder if I could push these to a zone 4?
@@sarahr2498 I'm a Zone 5 and in dry Colorado. Everything is on drip. My tag says zone 5-9.
MARY SLACK probably will not work for me. They say I’m 4a. Some winters I think 3b 🥶
Awww I'm so disappointed...I was just going to ask if anyone in a zone 2-3 had any success with 'Daisy May' getting through our cold winters.
How far back do you deadhead these daisies?
My Grandma Ruth’s favorite. They always remind me of her. Sweet memories.
I think that’s how heaven looks like!
I love this channel and you Laura because of how you show from beginning/planting throughout the season. I look back so often to watch what plants do and the difference between varieties. Thank you so much. They are beautiful
I had one last year and loved it so much I added two more Daisy May as well as 2 bananas & cream. They are stunning!!
Beyond beautiful. The density of the blooms is almost unreal. 🌼

So nice to see this today. Gorgeous daisies ♥
I love these "plant spotlight " videos. Thank you!
Yes! I love the longer planting videos but this gives me such a better idea of spacing and how it'll look mature.
I don't. They feel too much like an ad for Proven Winners. I mean, they are, but I've come to expect more from this channel.
Jake Jones 48 people don’t agree with you up to now.Sorry but we do like these “plant spotlights “ videos. This is exactly what we like Laura to show us even if it does highlight how good the Proven Winners plants are.
Daisy May is beautiful and pairs so well with the purple plant. Is the purple Ajuga?

I planted daisys by seed 2 years ago. They are the star of my garden right now. Even transplanted some mid spring and those all are budding too.
Wow...I've never seen such a full grouping of daisies! That is a daisy blanket...literally. 🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

Such a magnificent plant.
Beautiful flowers! You are so knowledgeable about flowers and plants!
