I cannot decide whether it's Grünwalder Stadion (1860 Munich) or Bielefelder Alm (Arminia Bielefeld). Two proper and unique old school grounds, but the Alm has been redeveloped from time to time within the last decades. 1860, whose history and character is closely related to this stadium, and the city of Munich finally need to do something in order to keep it alive, to modernise and expand it. Plenty of stadiums built or rebuilt within the last 15 years are looking as alike as peas in a pod, but that's more or less how 'modern football' is looking all across Europe today.... :( Maybe the Wedaustadion of MSV Duisburg is the only 'modern' stadium which looks quite impressive when it's illuminated in blue. Been there myself once, at least they have two-tiered stands and it's always a pleasure to see MSV fans waving their scarfs during the so-called 'Zebra twist'. The Carl-Benz-Stadion in Mannheim, built in the mid 90s, doesn't look that bad either with that smaller single stand behind the goal for the away fans. I don't care about these pillars that much as long as I'm not in the stadium and sitting right behind one of them. :D
Going to see 1860 Munich play next season, last time i travelled there from the UK a few years ago they were sharing the olympic stadium in Munich. Glad they finally have a ground of their own after many years of sharing stadiums with Bayern Munich.
@@aidygooner 15k is fine for a team at the level they are currently and even establishing themselves in bundesliga 2. If they return to Bundesliga 1 then they have options.
So now this is funny, I play in the first division in Nicaragua 🇳🇮 and I invite you to take a look at the stadiums. You clearly can see the economic difference 😅
Not at all actually. The "Wolfsangel" as a heraldic sign goes back to the middle ages, and is present on many heraldic signs of cities, principalities, and other sports clubs as well (FSV Frankfurt for example). The SCV sign has remained unchanged since the club's founding in 1924, which is also the main reason why they are loath to change it after 100 years of club history. Should you try some "völkisch" stuff there, I can promise you will be shown the door in no uncertain terms. Better try your luck in right-winger strongholds like Dresden or Essen...
@@DevSolar Volkische stuff like hiking and natural living? Dresden are a great club!!! I never knew that about Essen I have another club to keep an eye on :)

Their stadium is too small and wouldn't allow the club to regrow into an established Bundesliga team.

Great video - Love the info, photos, narration and music!
I love all the German leagues all the stadiums have lots of character
Arminia, Duisburg e Dinamo de Dresden, tem os estádios muito bom e bonito!
I would like to visit Dynamo Dresden match one day. I live close to Pilsen, so it could be possible.
Perfect 🇧🇷
In Polish Ekstraklasa stadium with 20,000 seats is normal. There we have 25,000 stadiums in third division. WOW
Dresden and Essen would be in the top5 attendance in Poland. Legia, Lech, Widzew and Pogoń only got similar numbers.

England’s got a 30,000 seater stadium in the 4th tier, the team is MK dons (nobody likes them and they get like 4,000 fans watching them a game)

German third division stadiums are unfortunately better than all Croatian and Serbian stadiums. Both countries need to do something about that ASAP!
