I have enough money now, when once I did not. I know it’s my moral responsibility to help others like ppl once helped me. Paying it forward. Recently I was talking to a young man on the street. He was so humble. He told me a bit about his situation but was not demanding or even begging. I was originally going to give him a couple dollars, but he was such a beautiful soul that I gave him what he needed for the day. It was a drop in the bucket for me, a meal and a place to rest for him. It doesn’t hurt to be kind or generous. He gave me the sweetest hug, and the genuine love in that moment was palpable. I’m not particularly religious, but I do believe that’s what Jesus meant when he told his followers to love one another. Lead with love. Money means nothing when it’s hoarded, especially when others are hurting. Greed is a sickness.
Not religious either, but lately I've been thinking Jesus should have just stood on a street corner and said "Love, love, love, love love love love love love....................." maybe then people would have gotten it

The fact that you can provide for your family and give them a comfortable life is what makes you happy. If you take that money and buy a nice car and a fire boat and a bunch of toys. While those things are important they don't really help people who need help the most.
