Perfection as always! Only 2 things i hope can be customized: - A crane with a dinghy instead of the fishing line. THIS, is a must. Freedom comes with a dinghy no matter the size. - Upper helm on top as well.
A nice video, and great to see Nordhavn evolving. Pros of this model over N40/N43 - twin engines, a bit more speed, much more efficient hull, lower COG, Cons of this model over N40/N43 - no upper helm possible, no Portuguese bridge, no pilot house, engine noise a factor in the single space saloon/helm area, limited outside deck space In many ways this is more similar to the old N35, an early coastal model. I wouldn't buy this as I would need an outside helm to get away from that constant engine noise. My Dutch steel cruiser also has the engine under the saloon, but the helm is on deck above the aft cabin, with the cabin door shut, the only sound is the wash behind the boat.
I completely agree. Constant engine noise is a key negative factor for long trip. And you don't have a separate pilot house where crew can take a break from it
Does the N41 have "Position Hold" as a feature? That is a significantly helpful feature on the ICW and in the Canal System on the northern part of the Great Loop when waiting for bridge openings, waiting for locks to clear before entering, and maneuvering inside inside locks which can be complicated when occupied by numerous boats. Of course, "Position Hold" requires the addition of a stern thruster. At this price point and to truly obtain the status of an excellent boat, "Position Hold" and duel bow and stern thrusters should be standard features. These features equate to improved safety to the boat and its occupants and superior handling capability in confined and/or challenging areas on the water - including marinas.
* *Its.* "It's" is a contraction of "it is." You don't write "hi's" instead of "his," or "he'r" instead of "her," so don't write "it's" when it should be "its."
Says less than 11 feet with the mast folded on the q&a part of the webpage. I would tend to think that that also requires the radar to be rotated sideways, winch laid flat, railing removed and no tender. It's low for a Nordhavn, great for quite a few rivers in Europe. But many canals may be unavailable or a hassel. But perfect boat for two people doing The Great Loop in the US, or doing the Rhine-Main-Danube route.
I think the double beds in the cabins should move or articulate in a way that they become single beds, so that they would sleep two guests not necessarily just a couple! I think it's a good alternative for trawlers, especially for bow cabins! After all, there are people who are not married or travel alone. ...still, the double cabins are too big, mme seems to be a "standard" a bit exaggerated in size, because after all it's a boat, not a house with a king size bed...! As much as the boat's stabilization system works, there is a force that can unbalance and people may not support themselves!
@@ANA51985 If you look at the second hand market for Nordhavn, you will see that they have traditionally done very well at holding there value. If you look at cost to operate and maintain and then the price you can sell it for after running it for 5 years, they are not bad compared to other boats.
So is your cell phone, I bet it looks good and works fine...in China, as anywhere else you get what you pay for...these boats are globally sourced...engines are made in Japan by kubota and modified in Europe, stabilizers in US I believe, etc, etc.

Nordhavn has done their bit, now if lotto would just get on board ...maybe I could too!
Love this little ship ! The simplicity is amazing !

You are going to sell a TON of these. I've already prepared for the conversation with the wealth manager ;-) Beautiful boat.
I'm going to be making a lot of crypto money, and this looks like a perfect boat for me! I'm sure I won't be the only one with this idea.
Really nice cant wait to see some voyages made and trips recorded

@Andrew. Agreed. But they now offer a Brazilian bridge so that there is no language barrier.
One day one day.
That lazaret is perfect. Great little ship design

A real beauty! I'd love it and would have one in a shot if I won the lotto. Jimmy
Just made an easy decision harder. Want a 43'. if this design could incorporate a Portuguese bridge, I'd be sold.
Wonderful and super reliable boat, one thing is missing in my opinion: a beautiful and spacious rear platform.
Agreed, that is the one thing keeping us away from this boat. But it has so much more going for it, I haik we could overlook that.
You do realize that this vessel is only 41 ft .
Is there a follow up video on the sea - fuel trials and the results
So beautiful I really want one bad!
Great design outside, wish the salon was a little straightforward in layout, sleeping quarters are fine. Not a fan of the exposed glassware...
Love to see just a little more speed.
Turn that second berth into an office and I’m sold:)
Ok please
Yes I am I pl
Simply gorgeous.
Can you get to the outboard sides of those engines to change impellers etc?
Would you expect anything less from nordhavn they always make the best
what size and make of tender is on there in that brief shot?
I love this boat!
It’s beautiful!
So what is the build time for N41 and how much is total wait time after you order .
Was that a fuel gauge next to the Racor filters?? Looked like AA batteries.
Is this full displacement boat?
Does the 41 have optional safety railing for the starboard upper deck
Just about perfect for 2 people. I wonder what it's minimum air draft is?

What is the range of the N41?
2500nm
Perfect for the zombie apocalypse.
I am looking for a motor sale during if you knew where one was for sale if you could please help me I do appreciate it
Really really nice
All I want for christmas
Range?
Awesome ❤️👍🏻🔥
On my short list
I cannot wait until Nordhavn Yachts starts making their boats with a X - bow hull design # Hint !
If it's a true Nordhavn, would it cross the Atlantic without deck fuel?
Answering my own question - 3000nm range for a 2000nm crossing and 50% reserve at 8 kts.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
#loveisimportant
That's a sweet little boat! By the time I can afford the running costs I would be too old to travel the world.
Top marks for the interior, I’m not sold on the boxy topside.
How much would something like that cost me?
It's on their website - $675,000 USD
@@NETBotic not a bad price
@@shorthousetours176 I thought so too, great investment.
@@NETBotic Investment??? After 3 years it will cost 400K!

Made in China ,,,need I say more!
I believe this is made in Turkey.
Yeah, if you want to comment something relevant to N41, you do need to say more.

Beautiful yacht though id prefer the interior with lighter grey wood, not a fan of dark or yellow wood
