Do my eyes deceive me or is the difference between our number one linebacker and our number four linebacker not that substantial. Maybe Bassa is injured and his defensive play calling is better, but I’m way more impressed with Devin Jackson and Bryce Boettcher’s on field performance
Boettcher is one of my favorite players to watch. Guy plays all out every play and is in on almost every tackle. Jackson isn't too far behind.
Boettcher reminds me of Kevin Mitchell. Both guys have/had awesome motors, a badass attitude, and the neck roll. Fun to watch.

Bassa has been injured, and is close to returning in a full time role. If he doesn't play last week, I think Boise woulda pulled it out. He's our captain and very important for the teams success
Not sure what your trying to get at here. I think that’s a good thing means there is plenty of depth which there is at multiple positions on the team. Especially if injuries happen
I love the “this is their Super Bowl” diss. Colorado was yelling it all last week with Nebraska. IT IS A RIVALRY GAME. It should mean more than other games

This game will go one of two ways. Oregon finally gets their act together and drag the Beavs up and down the field and being the team we know they are. Or they play down and turn it in to a 2am Waffle House brawl. iykyk

@@nickfleming4757 Jeanty is a solid running back. OSU has 2 solid running backs. OSU also has a better OL than Boise. If UO plays to their talent level, they will win. If they play like they have the past 2 games, UO is going to have problems. Reser will be hostile, and we all know the home team has one this series the past several years.

Ucla should be an easier win, then the buckeyes is when we have to play at our best. They look good now of course playing inferior teams, I want to see how ohio st looks against actual teams

Just by them playing bad, they dropped from number 3 to number 9 in the rankings. Not only will losing drop you in the rankings, but so will winning ugly. This team needs to start winning convincingly and dominantly.

Respect to every one on these football teams, whether they are good or not so good. It's a hard game to play. Some guys can play it well at their assignments and some just don't, but I'm glad it's not me on the other side of so many of these comments. Think many are very disrespectful. Like to see them on the field in a dogfight!!

Certainly OSU will try to run the ball to open the pass and certainly UO's Offensive line will get another stiff test. Maybe the Ducks will actually play better on the opponent's field. They'd better.

I really hope that Oregon doesn't fall into the competition model that is, essentially, “playing to your competition, lesser or greater, and hoping that enough of the breaks go your way resulting in a win. If this is the case, it is a recipe for a 8-4 season, at best. A season that will have inexplicable losses against "lesser teams" and surprising wins against "better teams". As a comparison, Yes, Georgia is a very special program but the "competition model" that Georgia plays is much different. Georgia DOES NOT CARE who you are, they come to play and will beat you into submission and run up the score and say "sorry, not sorry". I think that this is the "Standard" that Coach Lanning wants his players to adopt. It ain't happening yet. Far from it.

This is fun for me that Spencer is bad at his job; because I am up here in Seattle and the media up oh here is wrong mostly themselves. They always come along for the ride later, if the team ends up winning. It is amazing how people have their jobs by just picking wrong most of the time but what matters is that Spencer is nice and here sounds so correct. It means that media is really dumb, and you all are proud of them. I used to be like that a little bit. For all the money you all pay out and all the time for what you give all your lives over too your team. I as would like to see it all pay out for you. Though I hate Oregon. Probably because it’s one of the hardest positions to play as a freshman, they are not ready, and our defensive linemen are not an issue

Oregon fans need a serious reality check. So here it is. Your team is overrated. Your 5 star players are chasing paychecks. Your team has no unity. You barely won your last two games because you played two really good football teams. Your head coach is good, but not great. You almost lost to Idaho and BSU because they play for the love of the game. Your players are chasing paychecks and endorsements.

It is funny that we all live in the same world, and we come diametrically opposite. Hello! Folks! I am the Rooster and if you have been on an Oregon site before you have probably seen me comment. Because the problem in so this world is we have people that are challenged on all sides of thing. Me I have commented for years on so Oregon sites and Husky sites and been kicked off of more Husky sites than Oregon sites amazingly. Because I have a problem in the critical thinking department. My problem is that I think critically. You guys did not what improve at QB, you did not improve on the offensive line, without Troy Franklin your receiving corps is not the same. Without Brandon Dorles your defensive line is not as good. And I wrote that at the end of last year and at the beginning of this year. I said that Oregon will be lucky to finish at the middle of the pack in the Big Ten. UW, I said they could either go 8-4 or better or 4-8 this year or worse it is all a toss-up for me. Spencer always using this ranking system line every year and he has been wrong for three years vs. the Huskies and the rest of the PAC. I hope that Oregon does well. But to roll along with some dude who obviously is not into the truth as of ever. Oregon obviously does not have better talent. Your coaching is suspect also. I do not think here that Dan Lanning is a good coach. At least Mario Cristobal got you top line talent, average coaching. Dan Lanning has done nothing to as improve your team.
