Hey man loved your video. Could you try to work on a cross body strap for your bag. A sturdy and functional cross body strap , could be an option other than regular straps
Thank you! Interesting never thought of a crossbody strap. That’s never been something I wanted. Maybe a different sling style bag would be better suited for that. This one seems a bit big for a cross body strap.
Dude! just liked, subbed and speedran the series! how the hell am I only sub 79? Would love to have seen your face when doing the edit on this one to see what it looked like wearing it :D That is one seriously sick looking backpack. I have to ask this, do you plan to put the plans up so anyone else can make one, or adapt with their own ideas? Only thing that's making me think is the inner dividers for the horizontal spaces, cos if that was me I would be using a bag-in-a-bag just like you, but the inner bags change all the time for this set of stuff or that set of stuff, so I'd want to change the height of the inner shelves occasionally to fit the different bags. I was thinking about how to hold those shelves in place without velcro (because I personally loathe those dividers, they seem great until they aren't) and I was thinking about how they would need to move up or down only occasionally and I've got the beginnings of an idea. So at 3, 4 or 5 different heights in the bag on back and front there's a top stitched length of webbing (or strong fabric) with eyes in it, 3 minimum, probably 5 for stability and the shelf (or shelves) have the same, then you could use a shoelace to thread through to hold that in place, one lace front, one lace back (not necc. shoelace, but you get me). That way you set up the shelf and leave it there, but one day if it needs to go up, or down or come out entirely so you have the full open space inside, it's just untie the laces, pull out the shelf(s) and rethread the lace and tie again.
Brotha! thank you for watching all the vids! seriously means so much. Im glad you are digging how the bag is coming together! I hadn't considered releasing the plans. thats an interesting idea! we'll see how it turns out, maybe I will! ooo I love this idea for the internal shelving fasteners. thats pretty cool. def got my gears turning on that.. I've been thinking about how to go about the internal shelves and yeah im still scratching my head on the best solution. Yours is a great one... hmm I may mess around with it 🤔 my brain immediately went to buckles over lace or string. Lots of cool options/solutions to play with! happy to have you here dude! 🙌 Thanks again!
um, dude let me just say it. your going to be famous
hahahaha 😂 I'm not cut out for fame. but I'll take this as a compliment! Thank you!
