Holy Shit !!!!! U are killing it ...India needs more teachers like you ...ur clarity in the subject is just amazing .. never understood this topic until I saw this .. thank you for uploading ..let good bless u
Gosh!! ...what an extra ordinary metholdology of teaching!....crystal clear from every angle....may god bless u❤️❤️❤️❤️...love from god's own country❤️❤️❤️......... Deserve much more likes and support❤️❤️❤️🙏
BeCl2 does not form linear molecules. It is a crystal up to about 400 C made up of BeCl4 tetrahedra units connected via edge-sharing or corner-sharing (depending on structure type) so the Cl - Be - Cl bond angle is more close to 109.5 degrees. You can get a linear molecule when you have it is gas-phase (it forms dimeres first) but the stable form is not linear.
Yes, that's why i watched the whole video and here i am at the end, still having no idea why SP³ hybridization occurres in BeCl2 while in solid state... 😓
you are the best teacher for chemistry mam....you teach us absolutely in the way we understand with examples in a short time . there is another video of phyisics wallah and it has the same explanation but for an hour mannnn......it would be really difficult foe me to learn chemistry without you mam Thank you so much !!!!!!!!!!
17:53 I have a doubt plz clarify mam, You have said S-P that they want to be far as enough for preventing from maximum repulsion then why you draw them as beside each other?
see her the line doesnt represent only bond it represent electron cloud right and if you observe closely you will find they are seperated by some distance, to avoid replusion they are not beside ok va

Superb english sis👍👍👍
i thought you would have also told why and how it changes hybridisation according to Temprature by the way awesome teaching .

Mam does the s orbital have more electronegative character??
Mam you are soo amazing.... I understood very well .. Thank you so much mam🙏😊
Thank you mam
Not clearly explained the energy required for the excitation of electron from 2s orbital to 2px orbital.
R u from convent school jgd ?
Finally can I say.sp hybridization is related before bonding not between two atoms like be.and cl.
Good writing plus great explaination 👏👏
Nice teaching ma'am
Thank you so much 🙂
Thank you
Super excellent
Sakshi mam❤️❤️❤️
mam love you
Amazing
I tried the calculation for BCl3, it showed that BCl3 is Sp hybridized instead of Sp2. Why? Can someone please explain
This is be cl 2 not be cl 3 and yes be cl 3 will be sp2 hybridized
@@electric_deer2007 mate he did asked about Bcl3 😂😂
Bro for Bcl3 apply hybd formula its (3+3+0)/2=3 so its one s and two p ie sp2
Mam whats u r name
