For example, at 3:00, Byul knew exactly what Solar wanted without her even saying anything. It shows how well she knows her, even if it's something so small like a drink. Now if Solar goes out on a few dates with someone, she would be thinking, "does this person treat me as well as Byulie? Are they as affectionate and caring?" If not, then they're not worth her time, and vice versa. The way Solar looks at Byul, (especially at 3:42 and for the remainder of that clip), you can see how much she actually loves her even if she tries to hide it. Now in Byul's head, she's thinking "does this person look at me with the same amount of love as Yeba? If I need comforting, would they be there for me?" If not, it's not worth her time. In my opinion, they are each other's standards on how they should be treated and even if they aren't together romantically, I do believe they are soul mates.
