@@toooly8465 Maybe way back - like 1969, but I have heard plenty of live performances from the 70s where he sounds terrible...Live Aid from 38 years ago may just be the worst live performance of all time of any singer - except for Yoko Ono...
@@toooly8465 ok so Live Aid was the 80s but Plant was still in his 30s, not exactly over the hill enough to use that as an excuse...

Found myself stopping trying to play over this just to hear Plant's voice with all it's clarity & power. The.best.ever.
Dude thank you so so so much for this. I was able to learn this song finally (while I had covid and forced home from work), truly a life long dream. Played it probably 20 times a day. Never thought I’d be able to accomplish it and now I play it with my eyes closed. Not sure I would have been able to do it with some terrible karaoke - hearing plant and the John’s nail all their notes makes me dial it in.
So awesome, please keep doin what you do and thank you for it. Cheers mate. Long live RUclips for guitarists.

I just feel like I sat in for an unavailable Jimmy Page at the last minute and had to do my best with the great Robert Plant. I think I held my own Robert looked at me approvingly. In my own imagination LOL pure joy playing along with this track thank you thank you thank you for your efforts posting

@@mrjamesgrimes ok, i just based it on Janis' "Ball and Chain" performance at the Monterey Pop Festival and I hear similar vocal phraseologies with Robert.
