Those snow sculptures are amazing! Looks like a wonderful winter festival and I'm sure after a 2 year hiatus, everyone was rapt about its return. I enjoyed the snippet of history and this travel vlog style from you Shaun.
It was a bit smaller this year. I guess as a slow transition back to the full festival, but still great fun to have it back on. I was really happy to be able to share some photos from the early days of the festival. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it.
The pictures comparing Sapporo then and now was awesome. It’s amazing to see how much this city has grown. Also, my fave pic was the sunset picture of Odori. The sky looks stunning ❤

That’s a good idea! I’ll probably do an episode on the ice fest in Shikotsu as well. So much to shoot, so little time.
