Elgar is perhaps the single most offensive "racially-insensitive" composer of all time, since his music is so unabashedly Imperialistic and infused with the culturally superior attitude of England in its hey-day. In fact, I can't imagine why "Pomp and Circumstance" hasn't yet been BANNED at every lefty-snowflake college across the globe. But, give them time...... It's very sad, but that's what totalitarian societies do: ERASE their past. Just check out the plentiful group photos of Joe Stalin and friends...where the people he had murdered were airbrushed out of subsequent releases of the photos. Our own Western artistic heritage is in danger of the same thing.
@@HassoBenSoba The only colleges or universities banning music are weird American Christian colleges, when they find out that one of the performers is gay. See Penascola Christian College (Florida) cancelling a performance by The King''s Singers in february 2023.
