Holden VZ Impulse Blue keeping the typical Black bonnet and window trims but in gloss. .. Rims to be 5 spoke 18" Simmons maybe?? Gloss black spokes big dirty chrome dish. All chrome hardware kit for flares..
I also do not like the current shade of green on your car, but I think "BARBADOS GREEN" would look insane on this as it is a period correct colour & also shows off all of the lines on the car . This colour also goes great with the black accents if you chose to do so.
Many colours would look good on this car, so the choice comes down to what look you're after. Anything from candy and pearls to solids. I think it would look classy in a gunmetal grey metallic body, and where the black is now, I'd do it Charcoal metallic, with a thin silver line between the two, and chrome bumpers. The Mazda red that looks a bit like Candy red would also look awesome on the shape.
we have a uc torana and its nearly done hopefully around christmas it should be registered its in jasmine yellow. We got the original radio working in it yesterday and i never thought it would work yet and i dont know why but when the radio worked i was proud for some reason and i thought there is the third voice to the car, the engine the horn and the radio.
As per another comment below, Royal Plum with silver slr 5000 on bobtail with satin/flat black bonnet. Had an original 5 litre SS 40 years ago royal plum and had it resprayed palis white, black bonnet as all the rage back then, bad move, young and stupid, wish i still had it, bought mint in 1980 for $6200, bloody hindsight.
I don't know how you're fixing the sunroof panel, I would advise not welding it, the roof is likely to warp all over the place, I tried it last year, thought I would get away with it but it was a disaster. next time I would try something like 3m panel bonding adhesive, seeing as you've cut it oversize you could do that.
Fosters blue. The first thing I would have done is take that letterbox off the front. Those sunroofs cab come in very handy, when you lock your keys in the car. Speaking from experience lol. 👍🏽

My first cruiser car was a LX torana and I was the genuine second owner. I found this out when the son of the original owner walked passed it and was telling his mates. After hearing that he never got to drive it and he wanted it so bad I told him to jump in and I’ll show him the stereo I had put in the car. When I got around the corner I pulled over and asked if he had been drinking and he said no I said do you want to have a drive he couldn’t believe I was letting him. When he got back to his friends he couldn’t believe that he got to drive it and then I asked if he knew about the dealership stamp on the underside of the bonnet he said he always wondered what it was about. I then told him that my dad had bought his HQ gts manaro from the same dealership and his car had the same stamp which was Sydney’s biggest Holden dealership so that was a bit freaky how I ended up with a car from the same dealership

Ok Mellow yellow /black decals / black standard SLR interior. Chrome engine & shiny bits. Wheels 15 or 16 inch DEEP DISH chrome mesh wheels the ones that are on but deeper with the mesh insert painted black & Some fat tyres. Don’t put low profiles or your dead to me🍻👍🏼
I like white but you already have a white VL and candy red Rx3. I'd go a light-ish silver metallic with black accents. Modern dark silvers / greys don't look right on anything old-school

Guards Red is always a good choice for paint. Pearl White is another great colour as seen on a Tesla or Toyota Rav 4.

I would look at the Torana Gunmetal. But if you're looking for something different "Orange Sanguine", "Gris Montebello", "Vert Normand", "Bleu Paon".
