@CrazyGangstaShit It wasn't a manual box, It was a semi-auto sequential (Pull gear stick back to change up, push forward to change down). ChampCar ran started using F1 style Paddle shift's from 2007 & Indycar went the same way for 2008.
@CrazyGangstaShit Champcar was slow to adopt driver aids like you see in F1 because it was first and foremost a driver's series. Strange to think that there was a time when a driver actually had to take his hand on the wheel to shift and worry about wheelspin at the same time. They also did not have power assisted steering like F1. These cars had to be manhandled whereas F1 is more finesse.
I have to agree that Sebastien is a good driver.

Some CART cars had traction control back then
Tbh.
We can throw all everything against F1, doesn't change the fact they have a lot more budget. It is what it is.
sweeeeeeeeeet! this is fucking awesome
I actually got a bit scared from 0:23 to 0:26
How they judge understeer with walls so close is beyond me!🤔🤔
Without paddle shifting 😮
Why? So he can fail and cry at the end of every race like he used to?
