Thank you for this informative video. When I was diagnosed with ADPKD in the year 2000, not many doctors knew about this disease. Nor could I Google ADPKD. The best advice I can give (& I'm not a doctor) is to exercise every day, drink lots of water, maintain a healthy weight, eat clean/whole foods, don't take NSAIDS, do bloodwork every 6 months to keep an eye on your renal panel, eliminate alcohol from your diet, take Jynarque (if you are a candidate & can afford it), and don't obsess over having PKD. Live your life to the fullest. Remember that you have PKD, it doesn't have you. So don't be sad about it, don't obsess over it, don't google it endlessly - none of those things are productive & will change anything. With PKD I'm living my best life. I do have problems, issues & daily pain, but I just deal with it. I'm so much more than this shitty disease and so are you. I wish you all the best! Don't forget to stay plugged in with the best PKD resources which can be found at www.pkdcure.org.
