Great attitude! Don't be scared of driving there though. Rent a small car for a couple of days and try it. You just have to exercise a lot of patience but you get used to it. I was scared too at first but after trying it a couple of times the fear went away. Just don't let them pressure you when in the road and take your time no matter their honking or whatever. It is such a freedom to be able to explore the other cities and sites by car if you budget a few days a month for a road trip with a rental car. The surroundings of Tirana are what really makes Tirana great. Maybe just avoid the mountains and just drive on the flat roads, since you are from Ohio :)
This is good advice. I actually started to consider it. You're right. I want the freedom to get around more and to not always have to rely on public transportation. I'll get there!!
I didn’t get about toilet paper thing, what was that all about again ? And as for Driving like that, as maniacs,I hate it too! As for shopping in person I don’t find it all that big of a deal because 1st you are not as busy as you would be in major cities such as in The US and western countries. So shopping I found it to be fun because you have more time to go out, and not as busy. Ex. Going home from Manhattan to Long Island during rush hour, it takes about 3 or so to make it home, sometimes you barely move.. need some extra gas for AC( summer) or winter (heat) and some food with you, crazy… Overall, I enjoyed this little description of the life there !!
@@UnlimitedAspirations24 I wasn’t used to throwing away my TP and would put it in the toilet out of habit. I agree, the time saved by being less busy and not having to drive anywhere makes up for a lot of time. Makes life less stressful too. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
Guys yes you throw away dirty toilet paper in a bin. The reason being most places around the world rely on water to clean themselves....various forms of bidets or lota. Most places don't have the plumbing system to survive toilet flushing.
