mount that thing under the dash and that will keep this from happening. Micro switches dont like water all that much. Push that up to all jakes and watch out it dont die when you push the clutch in.
Lawd have mercy his kitten is super clean! I thought I kept a clean engine but gheesh! I also like those vents on the top of his hood which I assume is to release heat or maybe just for looks but definitely a nice 359 or 379...whichever it is but I'm going with 359!
@@mosyinmoses Yeah I thought it was a 359! I made the comment while watching the video and then when I seen the dash board I said yep definitely a 359! I was going off the lights at first but anybody can put 359 lights on a 379 but I still had it right...nice truck dude!
Those wire strippers are the berries! I stopped the flick, went to amazon, checked them out, came back all happy. Sad about yer greasy mitts, but that was a good shade tree fix. Peace!
So when you disengage the clutch with this quick fix is the jake gonna switch off or do you have to switch it off with the cab switch while depressing the clutch peddle??? Or am I misinformed about what a clutch switch does? Help me understand please...thanks!
Nice catch and great temp fix👌 Thanks for sharing that learning moment 😁😎👍👍✌
Gotta think on your feet when on the road! Love it bro
Thank you

Thank you it's a 81 359 the vent on the hood are actually for fitting a air-to-air under my hood

I love those wire strippers no more busting knuckles trying to strip wire in tight areas

I have to shut the switch off in the truck or it will stall the truck when I use the clutch
Good job ther.......so i guess with the switch shorted, and jake on, you'd kill the engine even with clutch disengaged now am i right?
Yessir I've stalled it a couple times 🤣🤣
@@mosyinmoses ya i'd probably do that a lot :D
@@mosyinmoses First time in a mechanical truck, I thought I broke it because it kept stalling coming to a stop.
🤣🤣 I remember my first Jake brake stall
Does the Volvo d13 also have that clutch switch
It probably has some sort of clutch switch
How is the Jake on that 3406? I’ve got the brake saver on mine and thought about adding the Jake but didn’t know if it would be worth it
It's basically just a noise maker lol but it helps from smoking the brakes off going down a mountain
Are these the 346 or 349 super jakes
@dearderekking 346
@@mosyinmoses thanks Moses
