Gosh, time really does “slip away”, doesn’t it? Legendary performance. Legendary band. Legendary man. Thanks for posting, and thank you Michael Stanley Gee. The memories and music will never be forgotten.
Amazing will always rock to MSB RIP sweet angel
Brings back such memories....I was home from college for Thanksgiving and drove up to Cleveland for this concert.
I was there. Great show. I had the MSB /Palace t-shirt. Girlfriend got my Shirt. I still have the MSB button. Thanks Dave for posting this!
Was there. My first show, at 14 years old. A magician opened the show.
They did 5 shows. this must be #4 on saturday night of thanksgiving weekend. the tux show. thanks dave
Oh, that sway!
Reasonably impressed with the sound and video quality for the era.
This is MSB at its best - what a great night this was!
Yes!!!
This is back in the day when they would get pissed if they caught you videoing them. Not necessarily MSB but artists frowned upon this.
This was filmed by the band for archival purposes
Did Gary break a string during the Rosewood solo? A nightmare on a floating bridge Strat.
Wow
Where’s this been hiding?
Joe Walsh played slide guitar on the original recording and did a cover of Rosewood Bitters on his The Confessor album. But I've always loved Michael's version best even though Walsh covered it extremely well. The song works better for Michael's voice.
Joe changed all of the lyrics too. Michael reportedly put his kids through college off the royalties. Good of Joe to have covered the tune. Super cool.
