Advent is the time of year when we can slow down and focus on the reason for the season; God stepped down from His throne on high and dwelt among us. In Him we have hope that goes beyond our circumstances but is rooted in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Biblical hope is not wishful thinking but confident expectation anchored in the promises of God. Regardless of what we may face in this life, we know we have a hope that goes beyond the grave.
