A bird strike causing the main landing gear to not be able to be lowered just does not make sense. The aircraft's landing gear is actuated hydraulically, independent of the engines. There is also an emergency system to lower and lock the LG. There was also no lowering of flaps or speed brakes, which would have greatly slowed down their approach speed. Nothing about this makes sense. They came in fully hot.

I shared this under an Independent youtube video and they started calling me names, so i hope this gets a better response and i get to share whats actually happening in Korea with international RUclipsrs.
    (I'll edit this later)
what no one realizes is that the person who recorded this footage was sitting on top of a roof on a Sunday morning, anticipated the landing of this plane and recorded the entire landing from the beginning to end.
This airport has rarely been used in the last few years and very very few planes land and take off.
I hope someone knows about this before posting a response.
They have had one or two take offs/ landing a week, so how did this person anticipate it and video recorded it??
he recorded it on the roof of a random restaurant that probably wasn't even open on a SUNDAY morning, and sent it to a TV station that PREDICTED this 'accident' two days ago. And while airing the news, they sent out a 'message', 817- 1987 August 17th, the same code used by North Koreans in the 80s.
the man makes no noise during the recording of this crash.
This waa a planned attack, not a mechanical failure. The number 817 indicates to something, no birds although there's bird habitat.
This was not a bird strike.
the person who recorded the landing is strange enough to record the entire thing from a perfect angle, the footage was then sent to a national TV network which aired a screen full of symbols and words durung live coverage for a brief second, one of them which said, 817.
if you ask Chat GPT, 817 is a 'code' used by North Koreans in the 80s. but it's also the model number of a Chinese drone, CH-817.

A bird strike cannot damage landing gear that isn't out yet or that is completely out. That's just an excuse.
Remember : low-cost tickets must still be profitable for the company. They are :you're saving the money the company didn't spend checking its airplanes properly and doing the right maintenance on schedule.
That's money saved by the company that ends up in your pocket together with a higher risk of fatal hardware failure in flight, when things are unlikely to be fixed.
    Your choice.

    You never said I’m leaving
    You never said goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it
And by plane crash I know why.
In life I loved you completely
In death I love you still.
I hold a place in my heart
    That only you can fill.
It broke my heart to lose you
But I know you’re not alone.
A part of me left with you
As the seeds of death were sown.
Tears are a love-mates humble gift
When it's time to say goodbye

With time and patience they dry.

Aircraft needs WHEEL BRAKES, SPOILERS & THRUST REVERSERS. Seems Wheels brakes didn't functioning. But the aircraft could have been diverted into the grass part near to the runway since & befote doing so, engine power should be shutted down.
This is unbearable and condolences to the families. Bird strike is not so not so normal, but it happens sometimes. Ots not crucial at everytime.

More people could have survived if not for the fire.
Fire killed most of them. Pilots had zero time to dump fuel...especially when you are trying to keep this several ton object in the air. I believe the first engine blowout severed the fuel line preventing fuel to the other engine.

  • @Dan-q6v1v
    @Dan-q6v1v 3 дня назад

The pilots were working hard to keep the plane in the air with no power. They could easily go into an unrecoverable tailspin like we saw with the Brazilian plane that literally fell from the sky.
Stop blaming the pilots!! You have never even stepped in a cockpit. They had seconds to think, they were working to get the engines started. A fuel line could have been severed with impact of the one engine blowing out, preventing fuel getting to the other engine. They had ZERO power!! Objects fall from the sky..it is called gravity!!! They had to glide the plane while everything around them in that cockpit was shutting down, a ton of alarms going off, beeping everywhere..it must have been pandemonium! They focused on keeping the plane in the air and trying to bring it down. They had no hydraulics, nothing!
It is so easy to judge from the comfort of our couch in your living room!!
The pilots did the best they could!!
Luck was not in their favor! Poor souls! They carry the responsibility of every soul on that plane! Don't think for a second it is an easy task because you have never been put in that position!
    People disappoint me sometimes!
May God have mercy on all their souls!!

  • @tigrebonita
    @tigrebonita 3 дня назад +1

Very very tragic. May the souls rest in peace. Could the pilot have averted the crash with no landing gear?
Could he have dumped the fuel or flown around until he was near zero fuel ?
    Thereby minimising the fatality ?
Why are so many ppl trampling around and collecting debris ? Won’t that be evidence ?

Looking at the video that Brick wall causes more damage than a plane with malfunction landing gear. Not an expert but i think that wall main function is to stop an incoming plane bcoz the other side of that wall is a highway. Wall built robust makes the skidding plane explode upon impact. Maybe airlines can make a solution about this accident. Maybe if that wall was not there, the plane could skipped and just stop if it loses momentum.
🙏 praying for the family of this tragic accident.
