It always feels good to me to take the keys/bombs/cash starting perks to free up some of the early game door selections. It's hard to feel some of those making a big impact, but those perks are at least as valuable as two rooms. The money is also really good if you have the guaranteed shop on the first floor. If you get the forest, the first shop has cheap hats that might give stamina health mana or even death defy. Real good for characters that don't start with headgear.

My favorite part with this game is that uncommon weapons in the right builds are broken af. Had the double hit axe with the helmet that adds lightning damage and the crystal burst effect doubling my damage. 10/10 level of nuts in this game
Yeah, I've pretty consistently won with just rare weapons, and uncommon ones have carried me pretty far I'm not good enough to use just uncommon yet, but the fact I don't need a giga busted legendary weapon to win feels awesome, not something other games can provide most of the time
I had the rare gatling gun, crushing hit with 2-handers ring, a chest that doubled the damage of crushing hits, and then the trait to get bone spears from crushing hits. Plus, there were a bunch of attack speed bonuses, so it fired like 14 times a second There were so many bone spears being fired that every boss died in half a second before they could launch a single attack pattern
There's a meta-perk on the lower-right part of the tree that gives you +2.5% magic find for every chest you open It might not seem like much but I swear I've been getting stuff that just FIT together so nicely run after run, the chests don't even have to be locked, the wooden ones work as well

I'm gonna be a YT commenter for once and say: 1.- Paper crane dot dot dot 2.- You never utilized your auras properly, like you need to be in there face to actually get the damage out of the auras, I've tried many runs with those and your damage didn't even APPROACHED the levels of damage that I had 3.- I love you keep up the good content olelrmxbsas
You were worried about not getting enough Lawful and talked about always liking stacking dice, but didn't roll the tavern when you had 50 gold for the dice guy; did you know he also gives you Lawful? Generally the main reason I even collect gold is for the taverns and the dice guy! It's hard to lose a run whilst you still have dice.
Speaking of being over-encumbered, I got the "the stats from being encumbered are reversed" perk Funnily enough I had a very similar, equipment wise, run to the beginning of this one, a ton of armor, block, supression, health, I had it all, and boy did I need it cause my ass did not know how to dodge tiamat and her attacks
I really dont like mana drain on all weapons. I had a run with trigger hits and the maxibee (20 attacks per second) and used a resine that made the weapon drain mana. I was instantly out of mana and the damage went down to the bottom.

man you set up some fun runs and get it going nicely just to make 1 small mistake that just cuts your damage in 1/2 and it makes me sad. i do love the games tho keep it up

The Sacred Fire trait is great with the Paladin because you get free radiant damage as long as you have a point of armor from something

FYI: the rage trait is one of the strongest in the game, it grants you 20% attack speed while hitting enemies

Glaives are actually broken, I think they're better than soul scaf was. They're basically auto wins

Cant end the game without trying a broken hero sword start, with blacksmith to lvl 4 modifier and pawn for more gold modifier
The bugs are coming from a new cinder modifier. They infest an enemy and once that enemy dies, it spawns the cocoons.
