😮😮😮😮
I’m already here
yo man I love you!❤️
Did you found your toes just to be safe?
Glad you made it out safely, as well. Glad you did this one. I’ve always been curious about this one, myself
I'm guessing Huston Jones didn't answer your emails on this one?
😂😂😂
I was thinking the exact same thing! 😂
Booo!😂😂😂
😂😂😂
😂😂
Your bones would be unbroken until Scott came and helped you out of the trap.
It’s like that little trick in Major Payne to help forget about the pain 😅
"Today, we are going to find out how to get out of a bear trap with some common Kentucky household items. By that I mean guns!" *pulls out a 500 S&W revolver*
Thanks for giving me a really good laugh after a frustrating day, hahaha
@nathanjohnson2767 I pull that one out on folks every chance I get hahaha
I don’t know which is worse, Scott ripping your body part out or bear trap itself. 🤣
You're expanding! Cars, guns, bear traps, maces, books for kids. A true man of the Renaissance!
Imagine if he could get his hands on some of the fun things Leonardo devised.
He should get in to folding tables, he has so much experience in destroying them I reckon he could design one that is indestructible
If he turned to the dark side. . He could be a criminal worth fearing..
An if he has a daughter, she might never get married.
@IamBlackToast Leo wishes he could have lived to see the ingenuity of the Kentuckian.
Also.. Don't you forget the Tactical T-Rex.😂
Dude, my iPhone called 911 when you said, "Siri call 911." They actually called me back, even tho I canceled it. I told them I was watching your channel, and you said it, not me 🤣
.. that's funny.
@tanmaz8006 I hit Cancel and about a min later they called me. Was afraid I was in trouble. She said it happens a lot
I wondered how many people that would get
Big brother is watching and listening.
Not wearing headphones, I presume? :P
8:20 You know what's between those two bones? Your nerves, tendons, and blood vessels
but at least your bones are alright! those.......those are the important bits right.......ri...right?
@Banzai_AWOSuhhhhh
Scott's shoulder needed a rest day.
It was leg day 😂
Scott became Canadian gun youtuber 😊
Underrated comment
@OtherOne
Facts.
Where’s Huston Jones when you need him 😂😂😂
Ooooh, don't tempt Mr. Jones...
Houston jones might see this and get an idea going so who knows
He could totally do a leg hold trap. Those dont have teeth/spikes.
Fun fact about bear traps: they weren't originally for trapping bears. They were originally called "man traps" and were meant to catch poachers. They get the name "bear trap" because the modern design is credited to a man whose last name was Bear.
Well; he was actually a French man, so it was actually spelled with a couple dozen extra letters, but it was shortened to just "Bear" when they named the traps after him.
Wonder why they never really used in a war, should be a lot cheaper than mines and easier to make but I guess not lethal enough
@KevinEHVgames-th6kk
The key to their utility is that they’re designed to be extremely difficult or impossible to open by someone who’s leg is caught in it, so their effectiveness is largely dependent on being used on individuals or small groups. If you’ve got at least one person with you; they can help you get out of it pretty easily.
Sufficient leg armor can nullify the risk of injury, but you’d still be pinned in place without a second person to help you open it. That makes it useful for catching poachers, but easily rendered useless against a group of soldiers.
Plus’s each one only affects the individual who stepped on it while mines affect them and everyone in their immediate vicinity.
Not "Fred Bear" ..HOPEFULLY THAT IS/THAT'D BE🤔🤷♂️🤨 HMM..!!??
Well, then, no wonder why these traps are so dangerous to us!
If you are talking about Franck Conibear, then he wasn't french but canadian. He was from England and his familly migred to Canada when he was 3.
In slow-mo, it sounds like the bell tolls for the trap's victim.
I would say that the puddle on Scotts range is one foot deep !!
The national Dad Joke Association approves this comment 😂
but just BEAR-ly
You win the best comment 🎉
lol
“Sir, we have a report of an incident involving someone’s head stuck in a bear trap”
“Probably just that one ballistics dude in the woods, don’t mind him”
Only me who got annoyed by how dumb they use the camera angles?
"Boy, will you calm down? If you call me an ambulance, I'm gonna give you a purple nurple!"
Definitely using that one next time I inevitably go to the ER 😂
hope for you to have the reason to be that calm for the time you would have to go to the ER of all places
That leg you just "caught"? .. It NOT be kickin' !!
7:00 "Is he armed?"
"Worse."
"He's legged."
3:52 because it's spring water
😂
WELL played 😂
Came here to make this dad joke, but you're all over it good sir.
It’s highly sprung water for sure 👍
It’s extremely catchy
10:50 I fractured my wrist in 2020, had to have surgery, for months I had to switch my wiping hand. I still use the other one, I guess I got used to it. 😂
maybe you were destined to use that hand but was was taught to use wrong one in early days.
Not sure if this is possible but I had the idea of inflating a T-Rex costume with a flammable gas and shooting it with an incendiary round
I approve of this idea
sadly it probably isnt as it needs a fan constantly blowing fresh air in so that it stays inflated but wouldve been awesome otherwise
This sounds insane
I love it 😂
@bubbyboy0102 a can of ether sitting through the fan would be fun
Ill wear the costume for you.
the slow mo makes the bear trap sound like the bells of pain and misery.
Headfirst into a bear trap sounds like a very bad day. 🙈
The pain the dummy felt must have been un-BEARable
That’s a knee slapper
I see what you did there lol
Good one 😂👍
😂😂😂 lmao 😂😂😂
Groan... lol
14:52 "Accidental self scalping" is a heckuva thing to have to explain to the emergency room.
Cranial degloving, happens more frequently than anyone would like
My old crafts teacher used to warn me and the girls and made sure we always had our hair well tied behind us.
Apparently she once saw a girl get scalped by a stationary drill.
@schw4rztee502 my mother got her hair caught in the engine of a homemade go kart, no scalping but bad enough that she always warned us about it lol
7:04 "My new concealed carry" 😂
"""""concealed""""" carry
That was hilarious 😂😂😂
13:45. 25 years ago, I had an aneurysm of the internal carotid artery, just about where that hole is! FYI, it was just about the most pain I have ever experienced in my entire life....
When you said artery my dumb ahh brain read artillery I'm sorry that you felt so much pain I hope you don't feel anything like it ever again
@Daboypotatae Thanks, all been good since the op, apart from a very occasional twinge..
@christopherdean1326 😁👌
Funnest thing Ive watch this morning while the 2ft of snow is falling
That skull degloving was horrifying
The look on Scott's face said everything. I don't think I've ever seen him that horrified before.
more like.. dehatting
8:35 you're forgetting what's between those two bones. A major artery and some very important nerves. If you don't bleed out you'll probably never be able to use anything below the elbow.
My mom had something similar happen. Except hers was at the nerve/"funny bone" in her elbow. They ended up having to remove it. 😬
Literally
I was just thinking that
The shoulder shrug after he threw the foot in the water got me at 7:20
Just setting these is horrific lol
This episode is going to get... grizzly.
I shall see myself out now.
That joke was... unBEARable.
I will also see myself out.
See you outside boys 😂
Hahaha! You’re a terrible person! 😂
0:39 The Unflappable Dubya!
Dubya's got to be a human 416 Rigby cuz he just don't care.
This video demonstrated just how tough and protective the human skull is!
or that Bear TRAPs are meant to TRAP bears not break their legs off
6:03 new allegations just dropped😭
This man is single handedly keeping the folding table industry in business
And also the gallon-container pudding and condiment industry
And ironically, eggplant farmers.
When I was in my mid-teens a friend and I were trying to trap squirrels. One of the things that he told me was NEVER set the pan from above the trap. Always come up from below in case the trigger slips and the trap closes. When you reached in and set that thing, I cringed for fear that something was going to happen. And they do have a tool for setting those larger traps. Otherwise it was interesting to watch!
Yeah as someone who was taught how to operate those safely, it was sort of painful to watch.
Um did anyone tell Scott that before this video😂.
"Man traps" similar to these were used from the Middle Ages on to deter poachers, plantation and prison escapes, and raids across "No Man's Land" during WWI. I get nervous setting little 4.75" Duke #1.5 traps for fox, raccoon, etc. I doubt I'd have the stones to set a #15 and/or #16 bear trap, never mind going out to check the trap line once it's been set! I imagine a 3-legged extremely pissed off wounded bear would actually be more of a threat than a four-legged bear with a belly full of berries!
@SwitchSstrike If he did have "technical advisers" on set they definitely need a stern talking to. Larger size leg hold traps such as these while not "designed" to break bones (a broken bone kinda makes it easier for a caught critter to wiggle out of the trap) will cause injury for sure.
I recall stories from old timers that sometimes they would find a sprung trap and part of a foot still in it when they went out to check them.
@MichaelWhite-cx4hoThats why bear traps aren't supposed to be strong enough or sharp enough to sheer off the leg. They have teeth but notice how they are designed just to stick in and grip not sheer anything off.
It both makes them incredibly painful to the animal but also avoids having the setter face a 3 legged bear. You get a four legged bear chained to a tree.
But yah not securing the chain enough would make it super dangerous to check.
This is the best gun channel hands down. The ending where he smashes the table with a pipe is.. nothing to shake a stick at!
*Cue the Manliest of Manly Scream*
This makes my… ankle, calf, and neck itch. Above and beyond Scott.
The “Nothing to shake your stick at” part gets me every time 😂
Hi Scott we live in Australia and my husband is going through aggressive blood cancer and the one thing that makes him so happy and laughing hysterically is your videos and I just love seeing the smile on his face and his laughter this really helps him so much so thankyou and keep making those videos he is your biggest fan 😊
14:06 delayed disclaimer 😂
ladies and Gentlemen. What we have here 7:52. Is a perfect representation of The Cardinal rule- NEVER PUT A HAND OR FOOT WHERE YOU WOULDN'T PUT YOUR PECKER!
Grandpa?! Lol sounds like something he'd say.
@steveo9284hell naw. 😅 but he clearly had some wisdom to leave you😅
So I guess I should stop picking my nose.
That hand separation was the flashbang special
the sound of the bear trap in slow mo is hypnotizing
5:41 lesson learned: don’t let Scott become a doctor
Oh thank god, W is safe and healthy. Glad to see.
The stick shaking is STILL one of my favorite moments on the channel Scott! Great video, as always good sir
4:44 OH!!!!! MY GOODNESS 😂😂😂 I could just listen to that on repeat over and over again and would never get tired of hearing it because the way scott said it with such enjoyment was hilarious.
6:20 the slow mo sounding like a church knell is a good touch.
Hey Scott, have you seen the 4-Bore-Doublebarrel that has been presented in Salzburg this week ?
10:30 *YOU DIDNT HAVE TO CUT MEE OFFF!!* 🤣
😂😂😂
The slo-mo audio of the bear trap going off is tight. Great creepy, ambience sfx for a scary movie or some horrorcore song.
Ong the snap at 5:43 brings back memories
One of those things that's definitely a reminder to watch where you step.
Man that trap sounds so wild in slow motion
Watched the video with my toddler. When the hand got cut in half he pointed at the screen and said "ow". Lol.
That's adorable 😂
Aw, your kiddo's learning empathy 😊
Never thought I'd be that guy, but isn't he a bit young to be watching this sort of thing?
@Zeldon567Nah, i have smaller traps in that style. What better way to dissuade him from touching them, than to show him the consequences?
@philipkrokerI suppose that's reasonable.
Worse part is I can imagine that happening and you screaming...even while your head is stuck in the trap. Dang Scott, you're going to give me nightmares for a few days. 😱
Scott please🙏 bring all these alter personalities together in one full length video. For the love of recoil, give it to us like the 4-bore. KB rocks 🤘😎
The head test goes for show how much the zombie torso/head is waaay stronger than it looks!
this makes me imagine some salesman from robocop (had advert about replacement hearts); "See how strong our skulls are! while it might have pierced into the brain, it still wasn't completely crushed! Testament to our lightweight skull's high quality structural integrity! warranty does not cover events such as sticking your head in a beartrap".
edit: "I'd buy that for a dollar! AAAAAH HAHAHA!"
Love the bear trap idea. But not as "crushing" as I thought it would have been. Still love the variety Scott brings to his channel. 🤘😎
the point is to trap the animal and not obliterate his foot
will not decapitate your limbs like in the movies :P
3:24 Yeah, Scott, I think the Ballistic Leg is really feeling the pressure, too. However, the real question is, "Who's going through more pressure?" 🤔
100 years from now there will be a exhibit showing what a YOU TUBE VIDEO was, these videos are what they would see....
I hope so
If RUclips exists at that point in time.
@fritz1990The label of "exhibit" implies that RUclips wouldn't exist in that future.
Somedays I just need some Kentucky ballistics carnage.
That hit with the pipe was "for science only"
@12:53 when he puts his thumb inside the trap... omg pucker city!
Still hoping Scott will feature a Winchester Ringblaster 8-Gauge industrial shotgun on the channel!
8:13 I don't think the artery enjoyed that...
Man said: "QUIT TOUCHING THINGS!" 🤣
That was funny! The kids really enjoyed your use of fart sounds defects, well to be honest we all that that was real funny 😂😂😂 even the wife!
We used C-clamps to open them. I wish you could have used some smaller ones like rabbit traps to see how much faster they close.
Right. So I'm never taking a walk through the woods again. Thanks, Scott~!!
Nothing scares me more in life, then the thought of having to wipe my hiny with my left hand. Isn't something you can say well I got most of it at least.... 😂
There’s so much lore to the Scott clones at this point
The sound of the trap in slow-mo sounds cool.
Yes it is sounds like a death 💀 tone from a bell 🔔 thanks for the video Mr Scott 👍 be safe
Bell of pain
5:37..😂
I mean I guess that’s one way to set off a bear trap without stepping into one.
10:05 “STEPPIN ON THE BEACH DOODOODOODOOOOOOO!”
Thanks for this video! 😊
KENTUCKY B, when I drive to Kentucky.... only to find you. I expect the best bear hug ever.
There is one of those Bear traps for sale at a store right around the corner from me. They have a huge selection of traps. Its called Three Bears Alaska.
5:35 :D ❤😅
Good video Scott. I had wondered as well... I believe that the lower hand was dislocated.
that vise thing is actually a great idea actually
Actual question? how do you set those traps normally?
this is what I want to know. Do you need to be 400lbs lol
You’re one of my favorite RUclipsrs. I love your videos they make my day keep them up.
That is one of the most scientific channels on RUclips. I learned a very good lesson today.
3:01 I guarantee Matt n Brandon weren’t smart enough to think of this.🤣🤣🤣 I say you 🫵 should throw a colab. with Matt “coming out of retirement for a day” party for Demo Ranch and everyone that was at Matt’s retirement party video be invited to yours with the edition our guy Houston Jones. Make it happen, captain…
One of the best "shake a stick act" scenes of the channel!
Watching this video is more terrifying that watching the damage bullets do.
13:11 Hahaha! Close one for sure!
They used to make man traps. They were used in orchards to keep people from stealing food. The traps for humans had locks on the closed jaws.
They are now banned. The Victorians were a wild bunch!
The Victorians also liked having hermits living in their gardens (there were hired professional hermits). Imagine your neighbor liked having hermits but you had fruit trees younwanted to protect.
We need those outside of convenience stores these days.
A gamekeeper near me had been setting them in the woods - a hiker nearly lost his dog in one. Luckily our school headmaster was a poacher and he set a row of traps with rubber jaws and made each pupil r7n through them until they could cross the hall without being trapped. There's a split second window where you can jump free.
Someone actually tried to set one of those for me years later. If it wasn't for our headmaster then I wouldn't be here.
@disdroidwhere did you go to school!?! Hogwarts!?
@pw9080 it seems like that now, in retrospect. the school was founded by st aiden of lindisfarne and kept the old teaching methods. up until the 1920s children left school at 10 years old. students from our school were going straight to universitty! I passed my Eton entrance exam with 98%.
I just opened youtube at it says you posted 13 seconds ago🙏
The same audio sound for all the slowmo was a chef's kiss 🤌
And the oscar for best youtube intro 2026 goes to, Kentucky Ballistics
They're intended to fix an animal in place, not to chop its limbs off.
They close _pretty hard,_ but they're REALLY hard to open without compressing the springs first.
These traps are illegal to use anyway
@lucky43113 Sure, you can't hunt with them, but you can own them.
I've got the one that my grandpa used to keep above the fireplace. I'd squish stuff with it when I was a teenager.
@Epic-BaconBlack-FaceI do love trapping though
@lucky43113Was Legal to catch poachers in the UK
Wish you could have opened the trap and pulled out the legs so we could see the damage (like the hand...very cool). Of course a person would have probably been bleeding out before you could get the traps back open. Very cool video (I miss the BANGs! but still loved the content). 😜
13:06, bruh. Don’t play with our phones like that LOL. Could’ve actually made someone’s phone call 911 😂
Reading the comments some guy's phone did and they even called them back about it.
@PennsyPappasThat’s funny but also not funny. I’d be annoyed if my iPhone called 911 on accident but it depends how you look at it. I personally don’t like wasting peoples time and don’t like my time wasted. I still like Kentucky Ballistics, he has a sense of humor we can all get around lol
You gotta give number 16 a hand for its performance today
I can appreciate how expensive this video was to make, thanks Scott!!!!
I imagine I'm the only person here to have actually been caught in a bear trap. Let's just say I'm glad I never skipped leg day...
5:47 ...I just can't help thinking there's a better way. There's gor to be a better way...
Scott never fails to entertain us
I don't think he's ever put out a video I didn't like
U said ainus😅
