Nick Beggs and Boo Treadwell met for the first time in 1983.
Singer, actress and model Boo was at the time hired as a dancer / singer (with troupe "Zoo") for BBC TV show "Top of the Pops", where of course Kajagoogoo was in 1983 a chart topper.
Before that, she sang on The Val Doonican Show and spent 2 years recording with Decca, Velvet and Carlin Music Labels.
Then she appeared in 1982 on "Play for Today" - a British television anthology drama series, produced by the BBC.
Trained at Corona Academy Stage School Boo appeared also on several TV commercials. In 1985 she joined top comedian Jimmy Tarbuck, on his top-rated Yorkshire TV game show: "Winner Takes All".
Nick and Boo got married in the middle of 1985. After 9 years they got divorced. They have a daughter - Lulla, who is now a promising artist herself.
Lulla, her stepsister Willow and their father Nick formed in 2022 a trio: "The Beggs Sisters" (Lula Beggs - Ukulele, Guitar and Vocals; Willow Beggs - Ukulele, Guitar and vocals; Nick Beggs - Double Bass).
In year 2014 Nick Beggs used his private tapes to create a visual document "Nick Beggs - My Childhood", which consists of different amateur camera recorded clips, from 1961 (DOB) onwards.
I added this short fragment from that document, because you can see here all Kajagoogoo band members (4 of them, without Limahl) taking part in Nick's wedding ceremony.
You can also see in the video Kajagoogoo's manager Paul Ryan, which was still a very good friend of the boys at the time (later on, they part their ways due to financial disagreements).

Thanks for posting! I have yet to spend time viewing the Nick Beggs - My Childhood stuff so this was a treat. The man always be stylin' hard...wonder what the footwear looked like (love the suit...purple is my fave color), and Ms. Boo looks loverly. The soundtrack is loverly too (Where is Love from Oliver on piano by ???...the music app Shazam was just confused, and a classic song I've never heard Joni sing...don't have this CD and will put on the ever expanding "to buy" list...nice!). ❤☮🌎
