Typically at 35 just before you head onto the platform go into level two braking and then hover between one and two the closer you get to the end of the platform if you’re going 30, you can go to brake level one once you enter into the platform and then hover between one and two the closer you get. If you’re going 25 don’t start braking until your midway down the platform and go to brake level one.
Ex Piccadily/Metropoliton line driver here. If the simulated train is accurate, you should be able to go full brake just before the platform. When you are happy the train is stopping then release the brake one notch. When you are happy the train is stopping you can go one notch less on the brake and come smoothly to a stop.
For future reference, if you ever get stuck like that in TSW, hit CTRL and 0 and you will be teleported to the last driver's seat you were sitting in. 😉 It's a significantly under-advertised feature adn I don't know why DTG don't make it more well known. Great video though and it's nice to hear some competent commentary from a RUclipsr for a change! 😍
Ex-Londoner born and bred here. The attention to detail on this game is nuts. Also, the running times of a lot of lines on the underground are really tight. A train every 2-4 minutes and doors on average only open for about 30 seconds to a minute depending on which line it is. On the automatic lines (driver is just there for safety/ override if there's an issue) such as the Jubilee or Victoria line, trains can be as frequent as 1 minute 30 seconds apart with a 30 second door opening at peak times
"They've probably been refurbished since then" Everyone in the UK: "no, they still look like that" Also, don't worry about picking everyone up, people will try to get on as the doors are closing and I've seen people panic when their bags get caught in the doors because of it. Londoners are WILD! I live like an hour away. One last thing, it's Charing like Charcoal.
Ah, I'm so glad you're enjoying the London Underground. I've travelled on it many times. Very fast and efficient. People moan if they ever have to wait 2 or 3 minutes for the next one😂
Worked on the underground back in the 80's, it was a great job. They had guards and also railmen shouting "mind the gap" at stations like Bow Road. I worked at Lambeth North (and many others), very deep with a spiral staircase and lift. At Temple station the staff mess was at the front on the west bound platform and you had to have a massive kettle on the boil so that the drivers could have a cuppa. So many stories. Does the sim just stop every now and then to simulate a strike, the power the unions had. 😉
Trev , Since you are so good in simulator games, I think you should try Motel Manager Simulator!!!!You will get Gas Station Simulator vibes from it..I think you will love it..!!Absolutely love your videos man...
Please be careful there in Orlando. There is another hurricane heading towards you and this one might hit you a bit harder than the last one. Do what you need to do to make sure Chelsea and everyone else with you are safe.
Nice video, i really like this series and btw at 9:51 you can press Ctrl + 0 to teleport back to the seat, you can aslo ride the TGV, its a avesome train.
Someone needs to make a ferry simulator like train sim... Sydney fast ferries etc Driving around the harbours, docking the boats, tying them up, using the radar in fog/bad weather, following the maritime rules and channels and a timetable etc... throw in some man overboard emergencies, fire, engine failures with single engine berthings.. would be awesome
Hey Trev, I hope you do another hurricane vlog this week for Hurrican Milton. While I always hope everyone stays safe, always enjoy seeing what happens in my home state while I'm away serving in the Air Force. Wishing for you guy's safety! HUNKER DOWN! xD
It's hard to tell how small these trains are in pictures but I am 5 foot 11 and have to duck when I get in them. They have to fit in the deep lines which are between 50 and 150 feet below London.
You now need to try one of the steam trains They have 4 according to my memory 2 passinger engines 1 freight engine 1 shunting & banking engine The famous flying Scotsman The 6p LMS jubilee The LMS 8F The fowler 4F The fowler 4f bring my favourite cuz it’s acctually fast and so small and adorable . To the point I am saving to get a miniature model of it 😂 . Yeah Try these out . There really wroth it and the experience is perfect
If it was a true sim, you'd have nearly passed out due to heat exhaustion, lack of oxygen, and dusty fumes. You'd also be instructed to drive over the dead body of anyone who'd ended themselves on the line moments before.
Well when I wrote the first comment I didn’t realise you have used the London Underground but I get why you would use more Ubers over the tube the only positive too using the tube is the fact you can get around really fast and it means you can see more of the sights but other then that it’s u comfortable especially if your travelling during peak times. I’d say you and your partner come too central London for one of the new year eve’s fireworks you have too buy tickets but book a hotel somewhere in Wimbledon or Morden or somewhere at least 7 miles outside of central London and you’ll experience something a lot of Brits have free travel after midnight but trying to get buses or tubes or trains takes hours and it’s cramped
You may enjoy the simulation of operating a London Underground tube but if you come too the uk and spend a hour on the ungrounded as a passenger you’ll probably not want too spend another minute on the tube as it’s horrible in summer it’s always hot and smelling like urine or body odour and If it’s not hot then it’s cold and wet smelling damp but as a Londoner I do love riding the tube simply as it’s so fast I can get from mine too almost anywhere around London under two hours so it is good for us Brits for fast travel but for anyone visiting London the underground must be the worst part of there trip
Hi Trev 👋 i love❤😊all of your youtube videos thank you for making the videos I really enjoyed watching your videos every single day keep up the good 👍 work buddy 15:12
Something that sadly never changed... loading a save gives a 90% chance of the scenario getting broken. Itdidn't work in Railworks, it didn't work in TSC and it hasn't worked in TSW 1-4. Also running on time... With scenarios like this? Don't bother, just try to drive as clean as possible. Sadly many official scenarios have unrealistic or even impossible time schedules. This has also been a thing since forever. I am kind of surprised you still got gold with the amount of overspeeding and hard braking you did.
And be at 10 speed when you are on the final square heading into the platform

U drive trains?
@@dmoody4628I do.

Is Uxbridge easy to pull into?
Keep us updated this week with a hurricane vlog!!
Fr!
Fr I only watch his hurricane videos.
Models now saying
Fort Meyers so maybe less winds for him but that means a more rain
Sir

i studied abroad in London for a semester during college, absolutely loved taking the tube. i still miss it sometimes!
The attention to detail in this game is crazy (from a Londoner)
I was just about to comment this, it's very impressive!

Finally! TSW 5 is back! Thank you! 🚂🚄🚉

The Circle line is probably the worst if you miss one
@@LiamK1998certainly not as bad as tees-side airport or something

I used to use the Bakerloo Line every day on my commute. Amazing how accurate this game is!
How do you do underground
Trev , Since you are so good in simulator games, I think you should try Motel Manager Simulator!!!!You will get Gas Station Simulator vibes from it..I think you will love it..!!Absolutely love your videos man...

As someone in London it was a fun watch but the timing would have me going crazy good video trev 👍
Same! 😂
I live in London and it’s been ages since I was last on the Bakerloo line my most used lines are the Northern and Victoria
I live in London and they haven't changed much at all! 😂
I think we need to focus more on upgrading the underground trains than the buses as that’s something we seem to do 😂
what about district, ham&city and circle's new ac ones tho? love them haha
edit (metropolitan does too i think)
@@tropical878 and they are one of the most unreliable underground trains 😂
@@LiamK1998 100% 🤣, you know you're screwed when the jubilee is delayed tho
Yeah… These trains have not changed one bit… 😂😂😂😂😂

Trev stay safe from the hurricane!
The underground is great, but not when you have 500 people on the platform trying to all get on and you have to keep to shedule. It won't be much fun
It's hard to tell how small these trains are in pictures but I am 5 foot 11 and have to duck when I get in them.
They have to fit in the deep lines which are between 50 and 150 feet below London.
The name Bakerloo line comes from the Baker Street & Waterloo Railway that originally built the line that opened in 1906
Bakerloo line is a lot of fun to play
I hope y’all stay safe Trevor🙏
They still need to make London Underground 2024. I bought house flipper 2 and saw your house by the way
Heavenly Father I'm praying that yuh keep the person reading this Alive safe healthy and financially blessed Amen.🙏
Amen
You now need to try one of the steam trains
They have 4 according to my memory

Hope you and all your family is safe during the hurricane, maybe bring back the hurricans vlogs if it’s safe and health permits ofc
Thanks Trevor!
Actually the tube uses 4th rail electrification, the outside rail is positive and the rail inside the running rails is negative.
You definitely need to go to the London Transport Museum at Covent Garden when you go back to London.
you have to cover the hurricane like the other vlogs, they’re great
It’s funny I just got back home from riding the Bakerloo line and then this vid pops up on my feed 😅
haha queen's park is my home station, so weird to see you playing a game taking place just down the road
If you get stuck while standing in the tube, you can fast travel to the current station. Then you can get into your train again
Be safe man. Wishes and prayers for you guys in Florida
Hope you, chels and the animals are ok during the hurricane
Man i love this series!
What a beautiful wagon!!
안녕하세요 놀러오세요

If it was a true sim, you'd have nearly passed out due to heat exhaustion, lack of oxygen, and dusty fumes. You'd also be instructed to drive over the dead body of anyone who'd ended themselves on the line moments before.
0:15 yes, they're the oldest public transport vehicles still in normal service in the UK.
Pls be safe During the hurricane love you man

Just a heads up mate, the rail in the middle of the track provides the power as well as the third, its a weird design but it works I guess 😅😂
I love your simulation videos is very very awesome 😎😎😎😎😎😎 part 8
Are you going to do a hurricane Milton vlog?? Stay safe!!
Huge fan man!! I thought of a game that maybe you would like. It would be cool to see you do a Series on Gold Mining Simulator.
He doesn’t need to worry about being late it’s the usual for all British transport 😂
Jubilee Line is to Train Sim World 6 Release Date in 2026 🚉
Trev I know the names aren't hard but I appreciate you pronouncing them properly :)

That train is far too clean for the Bakerloo line, where are the lights flickering on and off in the carriage?
Hi Trev 👋 i love❤😊all of your youtube videos thank you for making the videos I really enjoyed watching your videos every single day keep up the good 👍 work buddy 15:12
ah good stuff my boy more like this
Kinda creepy watching the tunnels there full of ghost stories 😳😳
No wonder the trains in London are always late. The driver keeps running all over the platform.
Idk if the game will have this but you can find out I guess 🤷♂️. See if there is a train map for Vancouver and such.
If you're on PC, an announcement mod just released for it
I'm always late, I don't think that's a problem.
good to see you back on this game how you liking it so far man?
Do farming similar plase😟

Please do New York subway system in the train sim it would be interesting

hi TmarTn2
Me still waiting for crew motorfest 🤣🤣
Awesome bro. Don’t your cab lights need to be off though?
I get the tube everyday and seeing it from a train drivers perspective is so cool
I came in at 39mph and I stopped shocking I know right.
You should play MBTA commuter dlc when it comes out on November 12th
