    where do you get the shims? I might need some for a Nissan Maxima.

    Is the code fault (68) indicates the same problem (VCT s Bank Starboard Valve Pulley Abnormal Advance

      Never go to wild with timing unless it’s tuned for it .It’s not to bad usually but if you run vxr cams in the svho need a tune from Deans team

      These engine’s don’t have variable valve timing .the vxr cams are set at 114 lobe separation and the svho cams are 121 lobe separation.apparently they advance the inlet 4 degrees and retard the exhaust 4 degrees.the vxr exhaust cam is to advanced for the svho so it has to be retarded .in a n/a they like the 114

      You might have to go to the dealer for this one I only do mainly mechanical stuff I can’t get into the parameters to change them types of settings .sorry
