Our South Indian lorries are very pathetic design. no comfort for the drivers who sit and drive for hours. Not even a cushion seat they use a wooden bench. No heater, no airconditioner, no music nothing. Same design from 90's. Please atleast put AC and Cushion seats like some North Indian lorries.

Gill truck body is typical north Indian style. The cabins there are built like dungeons, which makes the vehicle look more like a dog-catching wagon owned by the city municipality. In the process the cabin is built so heavy it takes a toll on fuel efficiency. Not to mention the gaudy paintings on top of it. In the south, we prefer simple, cleaner, practical and functional designs.

If you want the gill truck RUclips and South Indian lorry build you will see huge difference.
@@humanhuman9219 Cushion level and air conditioning are based on what the customer wants and can be easily changed. My main concern is about building a dungeon-like cab that is not as airy or bright. The worst part is the driver's visibility from the cabin. North Indian bodybuilding style (used by Gill) is the WORSE in this regard.

But if you see the gill truck they use multiple things which usefull for drivers but in south they use nothing, a plane seat and a wooden bench. If looks simple but very basic cab. Imagine driving in such cab in hot and cold weather.

What's with the timber frame cab? I thought that went out in India years ago...how primitive and post colonial.
