Тирасполь троллейбус (ZiU-682), 11.-13.09.2018

Tiraspol ist die Hauptstadt des nicht anerkannten Staates Pridnestrowische Moldauische Republik, der sich seit dem Zerfall der Sowjetunion von Moldawien unabhängig erklärte. Seit dem bewaffneten Konflikt 1992 und den darauffolgenden unruhigen 90iger Jahren hat sich die Lage im Land mittlerweile stabilisert. Als Tourist ist es mittlerweile problemlos und unkompliziert möglich, das Land zu besuchen.
Auffällig in der Hauptstadt sowie in ganz Pridnestrowien (Transnistrien) sind die vielen sowjetischen Monumente, Gebäude und Symbole, die als Teil der Geschichte Transnistriens erhalten und gepflegt werden.
Der Obusberieb von Tiraspol wird mittlerweile zur Hälfte mit niederflurigen Obussen abgewickelt. Der Film konzentriert sich daher hauptsächlich auf die hochflurigen sowjetischen ZiU-682, die am besten zur Architektur der Stadt passen.

I am curious. Since I've heard that intracity diesel bus lines de facto do not exist in Tiraspol (as well as in Bendery), does that mean the parts where the trolleybus lines are not covered have no access to public transport (other than private minibuses, I assume?)?

Tiraspol is in North Korea? Such poverty as well. I have not seen such old trolleybuses. Is it safe to go with such old trolleybuses?
