For clarification. When a figure has been marked as discontinued it means that current allocations for retailers are sold out. S.H.MonsterArts are completed in one production run, so they're not constant like toys you see at your local target. Older figures that are still available like 2002 and 1954 are because they were reissued recently. Everything else that's still available is because the current allocation has not been sold out.
The only real reason it got discontinued was because it simply sold extremely fast. The Minus One movie release was a big contributor to so many copies being sold. Fans were just hyped. As for why older figures are still in stock, they are reissues. SHMA often reissue their figures from time to time like 54 and 2002.
Reissues are why those older figures are available. It's possible they do a reissue for minus one later. That website is not oficial or affiliated with Bandai in case you don't know
Godzilla 2023 is discontinued, yes, that means they stopped producing it. Amazon has yet to receive the remaining units. 54 and 2002 are still available because they did a reissue last year.
I wonder if they will ever Reissue Battra? They did it with spacegodzilla and so why not with old toho monsters, plus it would be better to pay 200 than what people are giving out on the after market (Especially Ebay)
You must be fairly new to collecting SHMA. Selling out fast used to be very common. There was even a time when if you didn’t pre-order a figure the chances of getting it at all for msrp were low with certain figures. There will likely be a re-issue or re-paint of the figure eventually. Also I wouldn’t use Amazon to pre-order personally, they always seem to be the last to get the figures, and I’ve had them cancel pre-orders before, only to re-list the figure for a higher price. (Most recently with Mecha Godzilla 2021) thankfully the figure wasn’t sold out elsewhere yet.
@@LizardBoyG BigBad is good, Entertainment Earth is really good as well. I use eknigtmedia because they are usually the cheapest, however they are also one of the last to get the figures in stock in many cases.
Just get the super 7 one, cheaper and the quality is almost as good. I'm gonna get super 7 from now on. Easier to get them and almost as good. And way cheaper

Okay, never knew
Could you change it to like something else instead of discontinued please ?

I always thought the website was part of it. Thanks for letting me know

Amazon is literally shipping new units this month lol. But thats probably the last of them getting out.
This is a good thing as they can redo the awful eyes and add more brown paint to him too.

okay, good to know. I mostly buy my figures from US because I don't know where to buy them else where besides, BigBadToyStore and Amazon.

Let’s just hope the second production gets a re color (highly unlikely) also I never got minus one 😭
just discovered your channel very epic
Amazon is likely receiving the final stock of the product they were supposed to have, then THATS it
When can we expect a re-issue. Usually the second batch always does the best

It’s an exclusive so highly unlikely.
Oh wait nvm it isn’t my bad.
Shma is known for this. They do limited runs.
i own a minus one sh monsterarts and its the best sh monsterarts i have had
btw i have had g21 mg21 and kong 2021 exclusive and normal
Hiya toys: Don't worry boys, am here to save all of you
PLS NO THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING
It's not that deep
But one on Mercari or eBay, pricy tho.
I mean, 140 for a no accesorie, eh painted, shotty qc figure? Yeah, seemed like a waste of space.
Super 7 is almost as good looking. And its cheaper and its an american company so easier to get ahold of
wasn't the super 7 one a limited run?
Hello
I just went to bigbadtoystore and it let me preorder the super 7 version. The quality is just as good as shma and cheaper and more durable
I got mine a month earlier than expected and I LOVE it!
