      Absurdly amazing head movement, power and hand speed on another level, the only place he was really lacking is footwork and really the head movement makes up for that.

    • @Barbarianbrotha
      @Barbarianbrotha 8 месяцев назад

      Yep...that's one of ths only reasons I think Ali would take him. Tyson doesn't do well on the retreat. He's great coming at you slipping and landing bombs. If he has to retreat he's not nearly as good defensively.

    • @Greg1096
      @Greg1096 8 месяцев назад

      @@Barbarianbrotha i dunno about that Ali liked to throw from range and didnt make much power fighting close while Tyson was most dangerous up close throwing those looping hooks and uppercuts, would be an amazing fight seeing both in their prime going at it, i believe it would be an unbelievably close fight, Ali could take extremely hard shots with no noticable effect, Foreman is one of very few fighters that threw punches as hard as Tyson an Ali absorbed everything Foreman could throw at him then beat the absolute snot out of him, While Tyson never had much of a chin, luckily his style kept him close where the bigger fighters couldn't generate as much power, my personal prediction would be an extremely close split decision for Ali just because i feel like he would land way more with that crazy hand speed, have had this debate dozens of times and it never gets old as long as the other person knows abything at all about boxing 😊

      Absolutely. A young Mike Tyson who didn't say much, and who at times even came across as polite seemed much more malevolent than the trash talking Tyson. In my opinion anyway, the ringside atmosphere crackled with electricity when the quieter Tyson from the earlier epoch entered the ring.

    To all you young bucks, there is not a single heavyweight that is around now or was around in the past 20 years that could have stood toe to toe with a 20-year-old Mike Tyson. It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to have grown up in the 80's and 90's to watch this ferocious killer fight. Just like it was to watch Michael Jordan play. There will never ever be another decade like the 80's or 90's.

    Many overlook a key fact about Mike Tyson's career: despite being shorter with a shorter reach in every heavyweight bout, he wielded significant advantages in boxing against all odds. Typically, height and reach favor the taller and longer fighter, granting them the ability to control the fight with jabs and maintain distance. Yet, Tyson defied these odds, consistently maneuvering inside longer reaches to dictate the pace and control of his fights. This feat parallels a point guard consistently posting up and dominating power forwards and centers in the paint all game long, a feat that's typically challenging but appeared effortless for Tyson. This little talked about fact only enhanced his greatness
