Most heart breaking story of survival is that of this cutest gentlest animals. We MUST be ruthless in its protection with harsh penalties or we lose them forever!
It's not because of humans. It's because of a very small minority of psychopathic wealth consolidating humans who want everything of value to be as scarce as possible to increase revenue. Even if that means causing a mass extinction. Because the true most valuable resource on this planet is Life. The issue is, you don't understand how important this simple fact becomes at scale. And psychopathic wealth consolidators do. So you can be manipulated very easily into agreeing to concessions that you don't know you are making for convenience.
@chocolate42069 "almost indefinitely" is relative. Hundreds of years perhaps but not any length on a cosmic timescale. Almost all organisms rely on the earth's biosphere (excluding a few extremophiles that live deep within the crust). If earth dies that's it for life originating from earth. Unless we've had thousands to millions of years to set up other oasisses of life
Every time we lose a creature to extinction, the world gets a little more dull. Every time we lose these important creatures our environment gets more and more unstable. If the balance of nature can not be respected by humanity then humanity will also end up marching off into extinction.

There sure is, eat them. You done? Good. Here's the deal. All the animals we eat are thriving. It's that simple. Eating a species is the easiest and most effective way to prevent it from going extinct. Just so happens, Pangolin is delicious too.
@@ZennExile Are Pangolins farmed? Your logic only applies if the animals being eater are being farmed. I do actually agree with you btw. Under society's current model, the flora and fauna we don't consume will rapidly go extinct regardless of any sort of conservation efforts.
