What the military have disclosed is that these objects have capabilities beyond their own counter abilities. This doesn't prove that they are aliens, but it does suggest these things are no ordinary drones.

I think its partly jurisdiction issues. Both here and in the US they have to hand it off to local law enforcement once the drone is off the base which makes it hard to persue them, here they can't shoot them down over the base easily because of civilian casualty potential in the surrounding residential areas, it gets very complicated for them. It does seem like drones are a real issue we have to figure out an answer to.
