      @michaelfallis2953 Getting offended for someone else seems disgustingly patronizing and demeaning.
      "I'm offended because I don't believe you have the strength or presence of mind to be offended yourselves and do something about it. So I'll just tuck you in at night, give you a kiss on the forehead and go tie myself to a tree or something so everyone knows just how upset you are!"

      Gen X here. And critical thinking played a key part in my High School education. If your logic to a problem was flawed, the teacher told you. And yeah, sometimes debating points lead to debates. But that was the whole point. Get us kids thinking on our own based on facts and not emotion.

    • @infrasleep
      @infrasleep 2 months ago +2

      @superdave8248 Boomer here;critical thinking was more or less compulsory ,topics were debated which destroyed the extremists dogmatics-thats how you get democracy. Now the extremists scream shout and cancel and issue death threats to anyone who dares question their sacred dogmatics as they have no critical thinking ability. And the left are as fascist as the right -when I was educated we learned the stupidity and danger of political absolutes;that they always lead to catastrophe and disaster for mankind,but I guess we-and certainly our teachers-were closer to political absolutes and their results-Hitler's fascism where no debate to the absolute was allowed and Lenin/Stalin's version of fascism where again no debate was allowed. That todays idiot generation are indulging in absolutes without debate is very disturbing and depressing. 30 years ago in the UK there was an extremely interesting and informative Horizon documentary on gender that gave you the full debate (too much detail to go into here) It totally obliterates todays trans fascists on the left and it also obliterates the extremists at the other end of the non debate and it actually made you understand and sympathise with genuine trans people. Thats what critical thinking and discussing the whole issue and the science for it does;leads to a tolerant understanding. What the left and right idiots do now is to stir up ignorance and hate . Thats the only legacy todays idiot generation will leave. Ignorance and hate.

    One thing that I do not understand is most of the pollution in the world comes from most of Asia (China, India, Vietnam, Malaysia...), the Middle East, and Africa, yet these environmentalists do not try to protest in these countries. They do not even push for Western country to use trade to force these countries to clean up their act... or even help them do it. Nope the environmental movement is 100% about money and power now. It stopped being about the environment something like 40 years ago.

    • @domtomas1178
      @domtomas1178 2 months ago

      How is carrying for cleaner and safer air, water and land for our children about money?

    • @toddabbott781
      @toddabbott781 2 months ago +6

      @domtomas1178 Because they protest in countries with the cleanest policies, the most money, and the most power (that they can gain)... and do not protest in where the pollution is really happening and care nothing about them like there is nothing there. And most of the "green" policies they push for have almost no positive environmental impact and often make things worse.

    • @domtomas1178
      @domtomas1178 2 months ago

      @toddabbott781 okay, name two green policies that make the environment worse. I’d like to know this myself. As for protesting in the rich countries. Yes that’s because it’s the rich countries that have the influence on the poorer nations so starting there is the practical choice. Also most of these poor countries do not have the same human rights policies. So imagine a green protest in India, they would just be swept into a polluted ditch or shot for speaking out. When the rich powerful nations show others that we can all do better, it will happen. But instead we’re going backwards into the smog of the industrial revolution again.

    • @KerReeeee
      @KerReeeee 2 months ago +4

      It's obvious -- they can't blame the non-white countries or they'll be called racist, so they have to stick to protesting in Europe and North America.
      So, basically, nothing will ever change because they're too afraid to confront the people who are actually responsible for the issue.

    the fact that a company can sell a baseball cap for $400+ speaks volumes about the level of decadence and avarice in the world today. I'm 67 and I've been around the block a few times. Boomer mother in tears in Alabama. Am 62 years old with a 30 year old child that I miss so much it hurts in my heart. Her generation can not have a relationship with the generation that lived so drastically different that she has rejected her mother for reasons I cannot change. Just b/c boomers are diff than generation X should not sever the two completely. Some say it's only normal for parent/child to grow apart...permanently? Families are divided by culture, beliefs etc. WTF...family use to be everything. So the way I lived my life when I was young is a punishment that separates me and my own child. This mother is heart broken. I have not seen my grandchild in over two years. It is also not going to change or get better. My old fashion values are fighting words to her. I support her living her life any way she likes. I never thought who I am as a person at my core would be such a cause for concern. She is gone and I live my own life as well but I also grieve not having a relationship with her. Please make this type of permanent cut off stop. Stop punishing me b/c I was born in the 60's. This disbanding of families is a red flag that shows me that future generations want no guidance from us...not even our love. God help us all

    • @Blackpheonix99
      @Blackpheonix99 4 months ago +3

      Well I don't know how things went for you and her but speaking from my experience. My mother is horrid. She sent me to live with my grandmother when I was 14. Cause I wouldn't drop out of highschool and get my G.E.D. She felt I wouldn't make it to graduation. Turns out her making me stay home all the time to babysit and clean house when I got home instead of doing homework and having a childhood was the cause of it. I didn't get solo birthdays growing up. It was always "shared" with my sister who got her party and friends and cake and things. They got me some cheap cake last min from Walmart every year and threw my name awkwardly into the bday song. I had holes in my shoes with toes sticking out and torn boxers and hand me down clothes. They didn't think I could do anything smart or successful. They never thought id be able to do anything with my life.
      Moving in with my grandmother was the best thing ever. I graduated highschool with extra credits, joined the army, went to college (first to go in many generations), and now I have a successful career in what I went to college for. I tried to let her back in when she came to me 15 years later... She DESTROYED my family left me in a new state on a different coast from where everyone I knew was. and I had to build myself back up again. Now I'm 34 having twins with my beautiful fiancee and even further in my career. She also excommunicated her mother and father who were wonderful parents to me over the years. She lies and manipulates and makes herself look like super amazing cool business owning woman with a wonderful family. Whilst backstabbing anyone getting in her way or calling her out on her crap.
      I feel for you cause I hate my grandmother's tears. She did nothing wrong besides loving the child she didn't want. I didn't even hear I'm proud of you till i was 30 when they tried to come back in my life. They trash their friends and split up families and stir up drama. But to save my grandmother's heart I kept on a smile no matter how hard it hurt some days and said "it's okay grandma I'm happy here with you and I'll prove em wrong and become successful in life and make you proud". I will NEVER let my mother back in my life. But I would give up mine for my grandmother in a heartbeat. So I see your pain. I hate that you are going through it. But also it won't stop untill some people learn to change their ways. I'm not saying you are like my mother. But sometimes we hold our own kids back cause we want to force our agenda cause we think we know what's best all the time. I'm sure I'll deal with a bit of the same with my little girls in some ways. I just hope they see one day my actions and see my heart and hope they know what to do. And give my advice and opinion if I'm asked for it. And make them feel safe to come to me about those things.

      When people like you talk I always wonder what you're hiding and what you're not saying just to get sympathy. I've come across many who act like they've done nothing wrong even though they were the ones actively attacking or belittling their loved ones. Honestly, the best way to have sustainable energy is the one that people are the most afraid of because they think oh we're just going to irradiate everything.
    Nuclear energy is the cleanest safest form of energy. The only reason why we've had accents was because of people f****** up or back in the day when certain safety restrictions were non-existent. Nowadays, we have literal nuclear reactors that will turn themselves off to prevent a nuclear meltdown. That's some high-level technology type s***. And to be honest, fission which is pulling atoms apart isn't the best way of doing it. Yes, it's the first way to do it, but fusion is a lot better where it's combining two atoms and the energy from that is used to power things.
    Plus from my understanding of transportation and logistics, anything that requires wind or solar power, all the components and materials used to make such things have to be mined or drilled out of the Earth from places that have been untouched. Not to mention the amount of oil that has to be used in the machines to transport the equipment and the supplies to build wind and solar farms in such big areas. ,(I'm autistic sorry. So a lot of like the nitty-gritty details I can go on for hours for. I'm the same kind of person that would love to put manufacturers and refineries up on Mars instead of terraforming Mars because if we have terraforming technology use it here on Earth to fix the f****** environment. No need to leave one planet to terraform another when if we have the technology to terraform bring Earth back to the way it was

    • @domtomas1178
      @domtomas1178 2 months ago +1

      I’m not saying don’t use Nuclear, it is cleaner than burning fossil fuels. However how do you think these nuclear plants come about? They don’t just appear out of nowhere. To built them also uses machines, equipment, supplies, etc. plus nuclear waste needs to go somewhere. If you’re happy to keep it olin your backyard that’s fine.

    • @marcfilms999
      @marcfilms999 2 months ago

      @billyvincent4312 I'm not to educated on it but I'd assume the waste of it would be reused over and over again. It could be a different type of radiation all together or less potent. I haven't put much research into it. I could be wrong. Going electric isn't the answer and it possesses a massive risk. Solar relies on the sun. Weather is unpredictable and can change rapidly. If you have a weeks worth of rain, the power would be off. Winter in most of the country would cause massive outages due to the lack of sunlight. If you have a natural disaster, it could cripple the power grid in a region for weeks.
      Electric car batteries are made from materials that pollute and caused more toxins in the air. Some of which require thousands of gallons of water to process. Parts of Africa where there's been mining are devastated by the pollution and many of their water sources became toxic. The batteries can overheat and explode causing a chemical fire which can't be put out easily with water. Look into the EV car graveyards in China. Some of which have burned for days if not longer. If the battery dies in an EV and has to be replaced, that's more expensive than just buying a new car. EVs take long to charge, require lots of energy and you'd be screwed if your car dies in a place where there isn't a recharge station. Which is most of the country.
      Those wind farms are also a scam. They require oil to run. Don't you find it weird if there's no wind yet somehow they're going at the same time? That's oil making them move. Plus it would be impossible to power a city of medium to large size to operate on those. You'd need tons of land. Land in which they use imminent domain to steal land from farmers and people who own land in the country side. Oil and gas are the best energy types we have right now. They're reliable, easier to get a hold of, and way less expensive. I will never own an EV or any car made after 2010. I like older vehicles made of real metal and without smart tech.

    Just cause you already know you wanna be a cop at 13 doesn’t mean the force gonna hire you. Or the army. If you gotta wait til your 18 for that, then so do yall mfs. Transitioning as a kid is just crazyyyyy. Shiii at 18 you STILL a kid 🤷‍♂️

    • @jiyuuko7468
      @jiyuuko7468 4 months ago

      I think that its a little different for transitioning because after 18 theres a lot you cant change anymore. Like Trans woman that wont be able to just change their deep male voice after. So I do kinda understand, specially after meeting a trans woman whos suffered because no matter how much she looked like a woman, everytine she opened her mouth some transphobic shit would start bullying her. You can wait to be a cop, your body will be better for it after 18, but thats the opposite for transition, you have a time limit for it and its puberty. But yeah I also dont think it should just be liberated, but if a professional can diagnose the kid and be certain that their suffer from gender dysphoria, the should have the option to transition if approved by a set of professionals

    • @dlc_2678

    • @Rinouka
      @Rinouka 2 months ago

      Okay, and here is my issue with that argument. Parents choose their religious beliefs usually the moment they are born, even circumcision for the kid purely for religious purposes. Cutting off a part of the body of a baby. Now that sounds extreme, right? That's my issue with Rob's take. He is making it sound so extreme "they gonna cut my kids dick off!" Like, no? No doctor in their right mind would let a kid do that before 18, because they are too young for such a decision. The Education is for learning why someone would identify as Trans, and to be able to ask questions about it in a more safe setting, as maybe a kid doesnt feel comfortable asking such things in a regular class setting due to fear of being bullied? Like, the whole fear mongering over educating folks on it is dumb, as dumb as folks who bash educating kids on religion. Education is Education. And using fear of coming out is so stupid when all that does it hurt the person who stays closeted, just so others around them can feel more comfortable. Freaking stupid imo. Not trying to attack anyone except the take Rob had, and I know this isnt really the place to post this, but damn does it feel good to say it. Hope all yall have a good and blessed day. Stay safe. :)

    • @dlc_2678
      @dlc_2678 2 months ago

      @Rinouka The only portion of your argument that was valid was the circumcision bit....religion itself is optional and while the child's parents may WANT them to be of a certain religion or denomination, they are still free to choose which if any they wish to participate in (Perhaps forced to until they move out if the parents insist, but at least that is something that can be changed or dropped after they become an adult and thus it's not permanent)
      And for the record, it's Judaism where that originated not Christianity, but the practice became widely adopted even for non Jews for health reasons as leaving the foreskin intact can have problems with disease or infection if regular hygiene is not maintained, and we all know how poorly kids tend to be with that or their desire to bathe in general etc.
      If the trans and gender identity was taught and handled in a manner as you described, there wouldn't be such a massive pushback against it but unfortunately there ARE doctors who have performed gender affirming care and surgeries on children, and in many cases against parent's wishes like for example the mom was ok with it but the dad wasn't. Look what happened with Elon Musk...had a son that went to a clinic and came out a daughter...as to whether or not said child was a minor when it happened I don't know but the fact remains that it DOES occur with children quite often regardless of what you believe
      And when it comes to recruiting more people to join the LGBT, kids are their primary target because they are young and therefore impressionable and would be more open to discussions on the topic, but the largest reason is because they can't procreate as having those surgeries and taking hormone blockers and HRT makes you sterile with mutilated non functioning genitalia for anything except urination only, which means they must seek children that belong to others.
      Parents that are hetero do NOT want their children being groomed like that and should not be forced to subject their children to such predatory actions which is why they banned all discussion of it from classrooms in FL because Ron DeSantis didn't want FL to end up like NY and CA

    I do agree that to make claims upon them as if they had somehting to offer "Please Soft Power person so and so you are the only ones that could really fulfill us" is a very bad "push them as hard as you can" position. I dont think planetary victims must position vis-a-vi them in such a way. Better modes of self-defense must be available.
    If they are given the leash they want they will loop into a structural agreement with their victrims. The latter is not the point of the shape of consciousness they want developing and circulating. How to traverse all the way through those knotted deliriums arguments only to fully strengthen their position every time. Thats a structural deadlock they cannot avoid nor the experience of sublime sexuation that goes along with it.
    Its a beginning, but its different and much better than the positions presented above.
