Other teammates taking your Dot´s is as annoying as beeing a pyro waiting to clear with ramped up overheat while another pyro randomly pushes the button and fucks your dps up hard.
Just done some testing and Bullet Recycling (Tier 2) and it seems to be kind of broken. I have unlimited ammo when popping Twisted Rounds because my shield never drops, don't think the 5 second duration works. Never have to reload. Means you can swap out Instant Reload as well as Ammo Bargain for something else. Give it a try.
V.knife best mods are boomerang + sniper blades, the 50% range increase applies across the board, if you kill the marked enemies before the second hit wave, the blade transitions to new enemies on the battlefield, so with some chance you can mark 8-10 enemies with a single throw, combo the same pax tree in the video and watch elites disappear cause the knife can also pickup the 200-400% buff.
Yep, that's why Boomerang is mandatory. You get more knives. Sniper I'd say is situational but overall I'd use. Need to acknowledge Eager Edges/No Escape/Cut Them Deep as well. All play a role in how good knife is.
Thank you very much for this amazing build. I have to say, I was first very reluctant to substitute Time Rift with Venator Knife, thinking, that in trials I would loose some crowd control and clearing potential. But OMG, performance of this build literaly shocked me, positively. I have basicaly identical armor pieces as you, with exception of pants, where I miss Ammo Bargain and have as apoc mod Time Blast instead. So I had to sacrifice Power Assimilation on the gloves for it. Also, my Deathshield has Nikolas Revenge instead of Dark Sacrifice. But still, this absolutely deletes whole screen of enemies from existence in few shots. And to my surprise, its also not so sweaty, it is actually very comfortable to play with. Best build in the game, in my opinion. So thank you again.
I run a FP build with Terminal Velocity and it plays pretty much exactly the same as this build. Same skills, same weapons, same pax tree, but the class tree is all top tree for max weapon and close range damage. It's kind of funny how the two builds are set up completely differently, but the gameplay and resulting damage output are so similar.
Hello. Thank you for your guides it helps a lot. From not spending the entire raid alone to being the master of the party. In my opinion, the Trickster class has always been one of the very complex classes for me, but once the build is well configured it is very destructive and fun. I have always gone for Pyromance and Technomancer for their comfort and survival and I have been very, very lucky as soon as the Trickster class began, I have obtained all the parts with their respective mods except a modifier for the pants that produces slowdown but for everything The rest I am very happy and thanks to your guide I have been able to assemble my construction and if I do not go to the third referee, I will do the whole tour with all its bosses alone. Greetings and thanks again for helping us make this possible and not impossible.

Damn and blast, this build hit's like a truck. I was able to kill Orikel in his second phase, tapping a marked trashmop at his side. The damge numbers are mind numbing! I have literally died trying to get a good snapshot because I'm so stubborn. Nowadays if I'm being mobbed and don't get a good snapshot, no worries. It still wrecks like crazy. I like throwing in the melee node for the extra anomaly damage. It's a pain at first, but it becomes second nature once you get used to it. Best build in the entire game, IMHO.
Yeah, when you can get a good snapshot it feels good. If you mess up, build still blasts. You'll def get the hang of a near perfect snapshot the more you play/get familiar with the map layout.
I’m with you! You try to grind for a specific piece of armor, nothing but universal drops. Then you farm the final boss of trials and you get piss. It’s frustrating, tedious and isn’t worth it. I wish it was because I love the gameplay but fuck!
Nope, no word on any new content for this game. Worldslayer most likely is the end of Outriders 1. You can turn on timers in the game menu (HUD) for expos. No timers avail for Trials.

@@davidyap6099 Hi David, late reply been busy. It honestly depends. I don't have the hard numbers with me, but you'll usually be able to get a decent snapshot that will out damage TV with ease. TV is still great though to be fair. It's just preference as both builds slap.
What mod would you recommend for the pump action I got one with anomaly enhancement already on it but i didn't want to do gravediggers frenzy cause you said it was a dead mod

Im using this build on my trickster and its crazy good, but u get a little squishy sometimes... im only missing one V-knife mod instead im using one which increases the duration by 100% but u kill things so fast that is kind of a dead mod lol
I've been leveling up a trickster and gotten it to be good at ad clearing with decent boss without a single apoc legendary armor in a slot. What I'd like to know is if it's possible to go above level 50 into world slayer without legendary armor use? This video looks great and the third armor slot looks like a big game changer. I love the v knife, which is why I watched the video and was wondering how much more it could boost my damage as I get close to the end of the game. (I swear, that one guy in the city was far tougher than any boss in the game with all those orbs shooting, people running at you, stupid shield, etc, but whatever... v knives rule.) Any suggestions for best builds going on from end into WS?
You can basically take most of the 3rd mods out ant he build will still be viable with purples, albeit you do lose out on a chuck of damage and it will just take longer. Around the APOC 25-30 mark is when you see better legendaries drop and make sure to always check Tiago. Don't tunnel vision too much on trials as expos are still an option if the Trials content is hard. You can also check out the official outriders discord as well to group up and Twitch streams for a helping hand if needed. Although a lot of the WS update did make getting those new leggos and the 3rd mod slot be vital to an end game build. As far as best builds towards the end game to Wslayer, you can run a full purple time rift setup (once was meta). Not as strong as it was, but should handle the content until you get some gear. Trickster is a bit of an annoying class to farm with as other classes have it a bit easier with less amount of gear required.
@@PlayDohBear I'm at level 50(pre- world slayer) but I did expeditions until I was able to try eye of the storm. Doing that solo on a Trickster was the most nerve wracking thing in a while. All the orbs kept shooting like crazy, plus reborn kept trying to fly up to me and do that energy blast around him. The captains were frustrating especially a sword guy who was super fast. The build I had let me not use ammo for a few secs, which really helped. I had heard you get to select a reward if you defeat reborn but I didn't get that option, is that a thing with world slayer?
So, is the DPS between this and Terminal Velocity roughly the same or is Shieldbeast superior? It does look stronger in the sense of V Knife, but for boss killing Terminal Velocity seems superior.
Id say SB is superior in every way once you figure out how to snapshot for bosses as well. TV is def the easier build to play as you don't have to worry about thinking "I need to get a snapshot." But once you figure it out, you'd be hard pressed to go back to TV. I have an example in this build guide on how it handles bosses in the Gameplay section (see the first 15 seconds).

I absolutely love this build, although I‘m still new to the game and do not have God Roll Pump / Auto Shotguns (and never got a Deathshield to drop… it’s literally the only legendary gun I have yet to see..), I‘m still absolutely shredding through Apoc Tiers. If the tag of the venator's knife does not appear after less than two seconds after applying it, does it mean its debuff to the enemy loses its effect? Same with Pyro's death sentence?
@@johncrusade1270 Cut them deep marks elites. But if the red knife mark disappeared in like 2 seconds and you didn't proc it, your knife got eaten. Check my pinned comment on things that can eat your knife.
I explain why ammo bargain is required. Go over the pants section. Hyper loop is a dead mod. HTP is on a 3 second cooldown, no reason to have 2x uses of it.

That is definitely not the issue. Don't get me wrong it's great for mobs. However it is definitely lacking on some bosses. Anything that flies is also an issue.

It has some issues if there is only 1 boss like the arbiter, but again, 15 seconds to kill a apoc 40 FINAL arbiter is not bad at all lol. Did you know you can also 1 shot the apoc 40 okriel boss in the trials with this build? For birds it's simple. Throw knife at bird, wait for it to hit a mob enemy, shoot mob enemy watch bird die. If there's no mob enemy, then just get under the bird and kill it. Here's an example ruclips.net/video/KshYKdu_S0k/видео.html - go to the end during the 2nd phase of the paxian boss. Just note this is with a Death shield vs. a Pump. The pump would be much faster at killing the boss etc. Waiting for mobs to spawn is not a downside. You go faster by going a bit slower. Wait for mobs to spawn, throw your knives and kill everything in one shot vs. Killing enemies 1 by 1. There's a reason this is the best trickster build overall and the best/fastest build for speedrunning this game. You can also hard carry 2x naked lvl 1 characters through an apoc 40 trial with your eyes closed.

Yeah it's really not a sweaty build at all. You can just casually delete enemies 👍🏼 The AOE clear and CC is arguably better than Rift ever can be.

Yes. You have great single target damage and great AOE damage. I recommend watching the full guide to understand how the AOE damage works.
