Feel the exact same way bud. When I see your passion it completely explains mine! We are going to really miss Klopp. It will never be the same without him. Hopefully we get a manager who can come close. Who knows maybe the next one is even better(gotta remain hopeful) . I just dont want another few years of various managers and varying results. Let’s hope Alonso is that hope, because genuinely I don’t think any current managers come close except for Pep Guardiola and we know that’s not possible. As much as it hurts, I completely understand where he’s coming from. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can be as committed and passionate as Klopp. He is the definition of heavy metal, full force, passionate football. I think this is definitely the end of an era, and as much as it hurts, we still have a season to compete for and I think the best way for him to go out would be to be on top. I know he will give every last bit he has to finish this season off strong. Nobody will be able to replace Klopp, but I know the mentality and attitude he has given to all the players will carry over no matter who’s in charge. I have hope that we can continue our form even when he leaves. Whether it’s alonso or someone else, I believe everything Klopp has brought to this club will help with any tactics, any formations, and any team we face. He will go down with a statue outside of anfield, and he will go down as one of, and arguably the greatest manager the prem has ever seen.
During his tenure he has evolved the Liverpool squad twice, and this time we have world class performance and a very young team. The potential for this team very high, and for a manager to make sure the team is in such a position before leaving is incredible.
Obviously this isn't what you want to hear as a Liverpool fan, but it is inevitable. I encourage everyone to remember the fantastic years we got with this incredible icon of a manager, all the iconic things he said and all the fantastic memories he's given us. "It's not important what people think when you come in, it's much more important what people think when you leave." Let's do this man a favor and remember him as the incredible man and manager he was (and still is) for us.
