The Madagascar movies are something my siblings and I will always share. We moved to a new state in 2009 and we became homeless, one of the few things we had left was a portable DVD player and this movie. This reminds me of my childhood when I used to watch movies like this and classic TV shows like Batman TAS. Even movies that were meant for older kids like Jurassic Park. I would watch them with my brother and sister. Now my family can never relax and memories like that will probably never come back. Enjoy your childhood while you’re still young!

I'm going into high school with only one best friend, whos friends with a lot of people who don't like me and he has even told me he's gonna make new friends. essentially he said he's gonna sorta like, leave me? but it's fine, I don't care I guess. he's not in any of my classes anyways. but this song is literally how I feel right now, with the "Take me to my people" and stuff. I'm really shy and a bit different than most people in my class. people see me as weird and creepy because of how I dress and how I'm so quiet. IDK. I've lost many friend groups over the years. guess I'm still searching for my people.
